The company discriminates against people on benefits. People on benefits have to provide a guarantor which is ridiculous and unfair, as most people on benefits are less likely to have that, the rent gets paid the same as if you were working so policy that makes no sense. And the very lovely gentleman slammed the phone down on me when I said I would leave a review. If you don't have a brain cell the last sentence was sarcasm.

Lewis Usher of Keenans was brilliant. We were the purchaser and not the seller but, despite this, he kept us up to date. Gave us lots of advice and support as we were new to the area. Couldn’t be more helpful. Five star service all the way.

They are the worst estate agents I’ve every come across, communication is non existent to say the least, you complain and the manager shouts over the top of you! Do yourself a favour read the rest of the reviews before going anywhere near ! I really wish I had.

Absolutely over the moon with the service we received from Keenans during both the sale and purchase of our property. I mainly dealt with Sam,Gemma and Chloe who were all so helpful, knowledgable and friendly. I would definately recommend anyone use Keenans as they got us exaxtly what we wanted for house and kept us up to date at all times!

As a quick summary, they are not managing anything after the contract is signed. I bought this buy-to-let property from Keenans, they are doing alright, therefore I do expect they will offer me the same level of service when using them to manage to let off the property. Their salesperson is passionate and impressive therefore I’m happy to sign the contract with them. But very unfortunate, I guess that salesperson is the only person who is passionate about their property management team. As agreed, they did quote all items that need repair or work to me, and I transferred the required amount in less than 12 hours, I think it’s reasonable to expect they will act quickly as they already received payment, not necessarily in days but at least within 1-2wks, and I waited for 6 weeks they still not complete the work (the work should take 3-4 day). Most importantly, I still have no clue about when they will complete the job. I called/sent emails to them numerous times, and I never get a direct reply to my question, I’ll call you back later is the only reply they use but they either do not call back / not answer your question directly. Maybe updating the status of work regularly is too difficult for them, but I believe it’s very basic when someone says they are managing something, let the customer know what to expect, and have no surprise. But their property management team failed to do so, I don’t know when the property can be let, what else needs to be done, how long will it keep unoccupied, and how many more bills I need to pay. Now it ends up in a lose-lose situation, especially during such a market situation which is out of the property to rent, but I must keep mine unoccupied and not get any rental income, and Keenan doesn’t get the commission too. I tried to look for a channel to complain, but it seems it's not available.

If you are a landlord - I would not recommend using keenans to manage your property. When my tenants handed in their notice - they didn't tell me or do anything about it so the property was empty a month longer than it needed to be. They never respond to emails to the enquiry inbox, and don't have any sort of processes in place to manage the property. For example when the property was empty they did not tell the utility companies my forwarding address to contact me so I've had to chase this up myself and risk having unpaid bills. They have caused me an undue amount of stress and I will leave them soon as they have broken their side of the contract numerous times and so I have no confidence they are looking after my property. Really poor service, incredibly stressful to deal with and overall disappointing experience. I have used other lettings agents in the past who are much better so I know they are not all as chaotic as this.

My contact was Jonathon who maintained contact during the following two years while probate was being progressed. When probate was granted Ella took over the conveyancing and kept me up-to-date. The sale went through remarkably quickly. I met her three times and found her accommodating and efficient. My enquiries were dealt with promptly and accurately and it was a pleasure to talk with her. Although Ella had numerous clients constantly in attendance it always seemed she was working just for me. Regards Pat Thornton

Very helpful, Ella kept me well informed throughout the process even reminding me politely that I had tasks to complete.

Great service throughout the process of selling the house. The whole team including Liam, Rob Ella and various others who helped with the viewings, the photographer, all were splendid. Nothing was too awakard, too difficult or not their responsibility. They listened to all my concerns and gave advice when appropriate. They were great acting on my behalf when the solicitors stopped taking my calls. If I had to sell again I would choose Keenans.
