Kaplan…the proof is in the pudding.
Kaplan does a great job at systematically preparing you to take the NCLEX. Little by little, it builds up your confidence in using strategies to answer questions you have never seen before. I am glad my school used it to prepare us for the exam, because based on our cohort NCLEX results, it was a successful method.

Unlimited Test Prep is a Scam: Buyer Beware!
Unlimited Test Prep is a Scam Kaplan unlimited test prep subscription costs nearly $2000, can be "discounted" to $1499. In return, you receive subpar service compared to regular course subscribers who pay less. Kaplan unlimited subscribers cannot use their main system to enroll in courses, but instead must use a separate online form and wait 2-3 days to be placed in a course. By comparison, standard Kaplan users can go directly to there site and enroll immediately. This is a scam. Neither of these limitations to the Unlimited Subscription are explained when a user signs up or anywhere in writing that I can find.

I am an affiliative of Kaplan and have been for four years. I am a private coach and instructor for professional exams in my field. My arrangement gave my students a 15% discount on kaplan products and me 15% commission. They just announced that they are reducing the commission to 10% and not offering my students the discount unless there’s a sale, which the general public would get anyway. They are also using rakutan a third-party Asian company to distribute the commissions. I am not OK with this. I currently have students subscribing to their product and now won’t get the commission unless I sign up for rakuten. I also had trouble with their commissions and questioned their $$$ for a long time (over a year). They were taking the full credit card fee for the entire transaction out of my 15% commission, rather than deducting the commission from the entire sale. It was a mistake that went on for years, and when they corrected it they gave me like $30 even though it had been doing it for years. I don’t think their Math was ever correct. I was ripped off. I also had problems with other affiliates reporting me to them saying that I was stealing their copyrighted images because I used some of them with my clients. Obviously, I had spies in my courses from a competitor, but the fact that they contacted me about this was unnerving. So then in my coaching, and I had to just reference page numbers instead of using images from Kaplan sources. Not helpful when I’m an affiliate, and I have required my students to purchase their book. I guess they want me to sell their materials for them, but then not use them? 😆 I contacted my business attorney about it, and he said it was absolutely absurd and that I was within my rights.

Great Bar Prep Company
Kaplan Bar Prep made me feel prepared for the bar exam. I honestly don't think I would have benefitted from other bar prep companies as much as I did from Kaplan. Their course is flexible and allows you to have much more control over your schedule. I highly recommend Kaplan.

Kaplan was like an academy
Kaplan was like an academy that exposed me to a lot about the Nclex exams. I loved the content. My only challenge with the Qbanks was that I couldn't select questions based on the systems because I started reading system by system and needed to do a review after each system but that wasn't possible with Kaplan as the Qbanks are only arranged based on Nclex pattern.
