Kaplan…the proof is in the pudding.

Kaplan does a great job at systematically preparing you to take the NCLEX. Little by little, it builds up your confidence in using strategies to answer questions you have never seen before. I am glad my school used it to prepare us for the exam, because based on our cohort NCLEX results, it was a successful method.

Instructional Quality

I am a person who just needed someone to tell me what to do to attack the bar exam. As a former teacher, I recognized the strategic decisions in the lesson planning and instructional modules, the formative and summative assessments, and so many valuable details. Thank you for an excellent test prep season, and I just pray it was enough to get me over the hump.

Best SAT prep!!

This course was super helpful! It explained the best strategies taking the SAT and the fastest ways to answer. Steve and Jimmy were super kind and always ready to answer our questions. This was a great course!!

Decent materials overall, but don’t be shot down by the so-called “bar graders”

The bar graders for the essays are not helpful and don’t read the essays. I would not receive points for something that was bold, underlined, and clearly stated. This caused a lot of harm to my confidence until I stopped using them altogether and only used the AI grading feature / my professor for feedback. Additionally, the multiple choice questions lacked consistently, and unlike other testing platforms they did not tell you if a multiple choice question was easy, medium, or difficult. The only comfort was seeing that only 15-20% of people got the answer correct. They should focus more on building your confidence rather than just giving you hard questions 24/7 that don’t look like the real bar exam multiple choice questions. What I did like was the ability to get essay feedback from the AI, and that there was a lot of variety in essay and MBE questions. It was also user friendly and easy to find everything. I also preferred the Kaplan book/paper materials over the videos as they were easier to understand and more straight to the point.

Positive & Beneficial Experience!

Kaplan gave me the freedom to study what and when I needed to but the structure to keep me moving forward. There was a positive balance between self-paced and required material that really held me accountable! I would highly recommend Kaplan’s LSAT prep!
