I love Japan Crate because I am still young and Im not able to visit Japan. I love Japan and have always wanted to go there but since I can’t yet, keep experiencing their lovely culture and essence through Japan Crate. Also I am kind of a foodie.(:
I love Japanese food and snacks but I can't go out directly to Japan and buy all the stuff every single time I want to eat it. That's where japancrate comes in, I love how they monthly deliver a surprise to your house wherever you are in the world! <3
I’ve had a few boxes now and I’ve never been disappointed, the handy little menu/guide is so useful too! Will keep buying!
Japan Crate is the first subscription box I've gotten that wastes no space! It's completely packed with both big and small snacks that make it perfect!

I have gotten various crates from them Since I first subscribed in January And I have been more than happy with the content :) I also ordered several times from their Sugoi Mart Without any issues though with one of my orders the postal service made a mistake and somehow changed the postal code customer service was nice to try and help me out And the package did reach my door at the end though it took a long detour around my country 😅 All my packages have been in tact and exactly what I ordered Same goes for the subscription boxes (My favourite being the Doki Doki) Only complaints would be regarding Sugoi marts high shipping cost (though if you’re subscribed to their newsletter they often offer coupon codes which can take some of that high shipping dread) And their lucky bags Is either you’re really lucky or you’re really unlucky but I guess it’s in the name it’s like drawing a lottery ticket I have had 2 really awesome lucky and Sakura bags and two really mehhh so far 😅 But as for the rest of the stuff it’s awesome and lots you can’t find anywhere else And so far customer service has been really helpful I would definitely buy more from their store if the shipping weren’t soooo high 😩

Living in part of the year in Mexico limits my noodle fetish.. but with this crate helps balance things out
I love Umai Crate. It gives me a chance to try ramen and noodles that I would otherwise not even know exist. But not only that the variety and selection is always varied which I appreciate, i've never gotten any pack that I've had before. I only wish it was a bit cheaper as I live in Australia and it costs me a fair bit unfortunately.
I got two boxes so far and am happy with them. I love the chance to try the best noodles with different kinds every month.

I was a subscriber of Japan Crate for several years, (albeit on and off) while the service, prices, and shipping were quite good 2-4 years ago, nowadays not so much - slow shipping that’s not even free (my January crate took 40 days to get to me), crate prices going up, crates seem to recycle items from previous crates I’ve noticed, and slow CS response times. What really made me very displeased and made me cancel for good, was that my January crate came missing well over 5-6 items from it, on top of the $10 snail-speed shipping to make it that much worse. I contacted CS back in mid-February regarding wanting a refund, and I was told I was going to receive a replacement crate in about 4-6 weeks time and that I would receive an email regarding the crate’s shipping confirmation. Well, I’ve been very patient and now it’s April 14th and I can tell you neither of those things happened. I guess I just basically got lied to and ripped off with half of my January crate never even coming to me. EDIT/UPDATE (4/14/21): It seems like there was some sort of crate miracle today, on the day I wrote my initial review. My replacement crate arrived this afternoon via USPS, finally after 2 months of waiting. With that being said, I will redact my initial rating of 1 star, to a 2 star to reflect said change.
Hello, I still haven't received my February Box after two months and half. I ask for a refund or I'll file a claim with my credit card company and my lawyer, it's been too long honestly and with no tracking number issued you are a joke DON'T BUY FROM THEM JUST AUTOMATIC REPLY ALWAYS I AM FED UP I WANT MY MONEY BACK OR THE BOX I PAID FOR AT LEAST OR I GO VIA LEGAL WAYS I ALREADY CONTACTED A LAWYER
I always wanted to experience Japan but because we’re from South Africa, traveling is very expensive not to mention COVID making it more difficult, but with Japan Crate I can experience a part Japan! Of course I still plan on visiting Japan myself but till then ;)
They have so many options for japan boxes that you can’t get here in America!
