In desperate need of a guarantee medallion stamp Steve Pyott from IWC was the most helpful person for us.

Excellent service. However , the medallion signature guarantee service seems extremely expensive from all providers. The issue must be with the US gov't. The process started a visit in person to a solicitor for a £10 fee to verify identity but then compared to being able to trade shares in the UK for a £25 fee online , the cost for the MSG stamped paperwork system for the US is ten times this. The document for a second transaction at the same time was over four times the UK fee. Not the fault of IWC but a high fee to sell my shares. Note: the comments after the first two words were changed/added after the reply from IWC
