Unfair Account Disabling and Zero Support — Terrible for Business Users Meta (Instagram/Facebook) disabled my Instagram account without any clear reason or warning. The account was linked to a Facebook profile which has already been restored — proving there was no actual violation. I submitted multiple appeals, verified my ID, and explained that I needed the account for business purposes — including running Instagram ads. Still, Meta provided no help. Their support system is completely broken unless you're in the US or spending thousands on ads. For Indian users and small businesses, there’s basically no support. Most forms don’t work, and responses are automated or missing. If you're planning to build a business using Meta’s platforms, be careful — they can shut it down without notice, and you’ll have no way to speak to a human. Very disappointed. They need a proper support system, globally.
Horrible company Had a massive AI moderation screwup where thousands of users lost their accounts and were accused of various allegations. They need to be held accountable.
Instagram "permanently disabled" me due to FALSE AND WRONGFUL accusations. Mind you, I've had Instagram for 15 years!!!!! This has affected my mental health and physical health. I cannot imagine the thousands of other people going through this, and some maybe even harming themselves. This wave ban is disgusting and has to stop NOW!! I tried to appeal it and they rejected me within SECONDS! I hate this application. No HUMAN customer support whatsoever! THEY NEED TO RESTORE OUR ACCOUNTS!!!!

Soy creador de contenido y usuario activo de Instagram desde hace años. Sin previo aviso, mi cuenta fue bloqueada permanentemente por supuestamente infringir las normas de la comunidad, cuando no he subido ningún contenido reciente que las viole. El bloqueo fue automatizado por el sistema de inteligencia artificial de Meta, sin una revisión manual ni oportunidad real de defensa. Si el motivo fue un video publicado hace años, resulta completamente injusto que se aplique una sanción tan grave hoy, por algo que ni siquiera fue cuestionado en su momento. Además, tengo activada la verificación en dos pasos, y al no tener acceso a la app de autenticación ni a los códigos de respaldo, Instagram no me da ninguna vía para completar la apelación. Estoy bloqueado en todos los sentidos, sin haber cometido una falta reciente. Esta experiencia demuestra una falla grave del sistema de seguridad y apelaciones de la app, donde los usuarios legítimos no tienen herramientas reales para defenderse. Si Instagram quiere seguir siendo una plataforma seria, debería mejorar su sistema de soporte y permitir revisiones manuales justas antes de tomar decisiones tan extremas. Espero que rectifiquen este error y reconsideren su enfoque con los usuarios fieles que han invertido tiempo, esfuerzo y comunidad en esta plataforma.

I’ve been locked out of my business Instagram account for over a week now due to losing access to my authenticator app. I’ve reached out multiple times through both my business and personal email, and I haven’t received a single response. Not even an acknowledgment. This isn’t just a social account — it’s a core part of my business operations. The silence from Instagram’s support team is unacceptable. I’ve offered to provide every form of verification they might need, but there’s no way to escalate, no human contact, and no resolution in sight. For a platform that claims to support creators and businesses, this experience has been a complete failure. If you’re thinking of building your brand here, be warned: if something goes wrong, you’re on your own.
My Instagram account @06.kaanbb has been stuck in a security loop for 5 days. I completed all verifications (CAPTCHA, SMS code, password resets) multiple times – nothing works. I still get “Couldn’t refresh feed” in the app, and the browser keeps forcing password resets. I even received a message saying “To protect our community, we limit certain actions.” The “Report a Problem” button appears but doesn’t open a text box. It’s broken. I emailed support at submitted reports from other accounts, and waited patiently. No response. This is beyond frustrating — I have important messages stuck in my DMs and no way to access them. Instagram’s system is broken and support is non-existent. Fix your platform or stop pretending to care about users.

Eine Plattform, die Follower dabei unterstützt, die deine Follow-Anfrage auf „angefragt“ lassen, um sich bei deiner Followerliste deines Privataccounts zu bedienen, damit sie zu noch mehr Followern kommen. Wenn du dich zur Wehr setzt und die unbeantworteten Anfragen beginnst, zu löschen, damit der Nutzer keinen Zugriff auf deinen Privataccount mehr hat, wirst du von Instagram blockiert mit der Begründung, du würdest gegen Gemeinschaftsrichtlinien verstoßen. Wer verstößt da gegen die Gemeinschaftsrichtlinien? Derjenige der „heimlich“ klaut und wohl nicht der, der sich zu wehren und seinen Privataccount mit seinen Followern zu schützen versucht. Eigentlich wäre es Aufgabe von Instagram, ein derart betrügerisches Verhalten zu unterbinden, aber nein, Instagram unterstützt in diesem Fall die Täter! Wenn du versuchst, auf diesen Umstand aufmerksam zu machen, wird deine Schilderung von Instagram ignoriert, die Blockade deines Accounts bleibt bestehen, damit sich die „eingeschlichenen“ Nutzer weiter munter bei deinem Privataccount bedienen können und ihre Followerliste weiter aufbessern können! Erbärmliche Einstellung, erbärmliches Nutzer-Verhalten, erbärmliche Plattform! Es lebe Betrug und Ungerechtigkeit! Grüße an die beschriebenen Nutzerinnen in Freistadt, Linz, Salzburg, Graz und Graz-Umgebung, werdet glücklich mit den zu Unrecht erworbenen Followern …. As a small business owner, my Instagram was a major tool for connecting with clients, showcasing my work, and growing. I’ve tried reaching out to resolve the issue, but communication has been frustrating and unhelpful. It’s upsetting that years of content, client interaction, and business growth can be taken away in an instant with no support. Instagram, please fix this!
Instagram needs to fix the issue where the same people keep sending follow requests even after being declined multiple times. It’s frustrating and feels like my decision is being ignored. If I decline once, that should be enough. This needs to be addressed seriously.
