Subscription company. BEWARE

I have been waiting for more then a month for the product. It is a subscription company so they have now already charged me for the next month of product. I still haven't received my first month. I have reached out to the company and they told me to wait another 2 weeks after a month of already waiting. I have asked them to cancel the next order and they did not. I threaten to cancel my credit card before they finally closed my membership. I have been waiting 35 days for product that I've been charged twice for.

Poor customer service

The probiotics were fine, but I ended up cancelling my subscription. I was told that it had been cancelled and then a month and a half later, I was charged for another bottle of them. I reached out and said that I had already cancelled the subscription and asked for a refund. They said they would (not including the cost of shipping) I if I sent back the item with my own money. I think that was super unfair since they're the ones who made the mistake and they won't just own up to it and take the small loss. I also would feel uncomfortable about giving them any billing information since they seem incapable of keeping track of whether or not people's subscriptions are active or not.

Unethical Scam-like cancellation policy

Unethical business practices and no easy way to cancel their “subscription”. As other users have stated, the “3 month subscription” is impossible to cancel, even after 3 months. It keeps auto-renewing. Also when looking for reviews for this company, you are inundated with all of their paid reviews. This is the first place I have seen honest reviews for this company, and I wish I had seen this before I ordered.

Sneaky bait and switch

Sneaky bait and switch. Trick you into signing up for a subscription. I know I did not concede to a subscription but somehow they say I have one. Beware, their products must be bad if they have to stoop to tricking you into a subscription.

Predatory marketing

Predatory marketing. I had no idea I was signing for a monthly subscription (~ $50 per month) when I placed my first order. I was automatically opted into a 'VIP Plan' which obligated me to place 2 additional orders. I had to pay $30 to cancel and end the subscription. Absolutely unethical. Will not be purchasing their products in the future.

Will trap you in a subscription you can't cancel

Products did not work for me. They don't allow returns on opened items for a refund, only store credit. Why would I want a store credit when the products didn't work? Also, I guess I signed up for some kind of VIP subscription when I placed my order. So apparently I can't cancel my subscription. I have to order two more times and then I can cancel! If I was to cancel then the discount of $17 that was used on my first order would be charged back to my card?! I have never heard of such a thing. There are SO many nutrition companies out there and they offer discounts and subscriptions but allow you to cancel at any time. I do not like being trapped into a subscription. I initially thought about just giving the products more time and possibly ordering in the future, but after finding out that I'm stuck in this subscription I will not be ordering anything else from this company.

Poor practices and no Easy way to Cancel

I sought out a different vitamin company. Their website is bright and welcoming and I liked the selection of vitamins. I signed up to try 3 different vitamins and knew that it was going to be a recurring subscription. I wasn't too worried about it as I could push back the next ship date. Fast forward a couple months now and I get an email that my order was processing. I never received a reminder email and with life being busy didn't think to check my account for the ship date. I used the chat feature on the website to cancel my subscription entirely after having no luck on the website to cancel. It was a little frustrating that there was no easy way on my account to cancel or pause my subscription. However, the agent had no trouble cancelling my subscription and I promptly received an email confirmation. What I am most upset about is there is no way to cancel the order I just received a notification about. The email said the status was processing, but the agent said the shipping label was already created and the order was shipped. Mind you I don't have a tacking number yet and the order doesn't who in recent orders on my account. I can return the box for a refund but have to pay for the shipping label out of pocket. I can't believe this business doesn't offer assistance for returns and doesn't send a reminder email about an upcoming order. A few of the other subscriptions I have always send an email a few days before. I am very dissatisfied with the policies of this company and do not plan to ever order from them again.

THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU

THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU! DO NOT ORDER HERE! I wanted to order one product just to try but did not like it. And then after a month they emailed me that they are sending me another product for my subscription. I did not rember signing up. And to call their customer service is hell! There was one lady who answered me and sounds shady and just disconnected my call. I will report this company to BBB because they are scamming a lot of people. That lady who took my call was so rude and told me that when i ordered it was “clearly”?? Stated that i will be enrolled in a subscription? Which when i ordered i could not find that agreement.

NO WAY TO CANCEL- they do not disclose you are purchasing a 3 month subscription plan. Terrible company. Total cash grab- very shady business.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!! if you order ONE thing from them you automatically sign up for a subscription with no knowledge until you recieve another box a month later and CHARGED $96. and to get out of the subscription its even worse bc now they want to charge you $46 for CANCELLING. save yourself some time and trouble and trust me do not ever order from hum.

There is no easy way to cancel— money grab

The supplements were fine. I didn’t experience basically any benefits but no issues either— the bloating one was a little effective. What makes it so bad is the customer service. My “nutritionist” was alright, but after trying a month of supplements I wanted to cancel. Warning: THERE IS NO EASY WAY TO CANCEL. And they do not notify you before an order goes through. The supplements are expensive, do very little. The customer service is awesome, though you will be on hold for like 20 minutes.

Better options elsewhere

This place doesn’t give the best customer service. Also the products that I bought weren’t all that great. I got the ripped rooster and it didn’t do anything. If anything it only worked well to cut appetite when I took two at one time. I asked for assistance via their chat and they let me know they would have a nutritionist get back to me. Well that never happened it’s just a waste of money for a product that does not work and supposed nutritionist and never get back to you on a simple question.

Super sketchy company

Super sketchy fine print on VIP "deal." Difficult to communicate with customer support and even harder to cancel your membership. Don't bother with this shady company.

Unbelievable truly I wanted hair they wanted a buck

Terrible I bought a 3 bundle & after 2 weeks I decided it doesn't have enough vitamins for me. So I emailed to cancel well she said ok I moved it a couple of weeks. I said no no I wanted to cancel my subscription. She said if you cancel it with out purchasing to more subscriptions you'll have to pay 17.95,because you got 25% off. You don't have to get them right away just before the year is up. So what would you like to do? I said cancel it. It never said anything about that.

Not a fan AT ALL

Not a fan AT ALL. I decided to try them because I saw their digestive enzymes have great reviews. I signed up, got 3 different vitamins and enrolled into their subscription plan. They don't tell you up front that you're paying $64/mo to get a "discount" on their vitamins (and try to pass it off as a deal since you get a supposed "nutritionist"). This makes absolutely no sense. Besides that, their product tore up my stomach. If the product was good I'd at least give them 3 stars, but no, I have NEVER had a vitamin tear up my stomach like HUM vitamins did. Specifically the skin squad and daily cleanse. I gave them a try for a month, hoping maybe it would improve but it was terrible the entire time. To cancel, you have to pay a fee. One of the worst companies I have dealt with and their products are absolutely garbage. Deceptive practices. I threw out all my HUM products and will never touch this company again.
