David did a great job diagnosing and then fixing the two problems causing us to have intermittent hot water! We are indeed delighted with the results. Saved us buying a new system when half the problem was the earth return switch and not the water heater! Very satisfied with David’s knowledge and professionalism.

My husband kept complaining about poor lighting in the home study. Once I called Hornsby Electric they came the next day and replaced existing down lights with LED lights. This required cutting bigger holes in the ceiling and new transformers. All done within an hour! Perfect! Husband now very happy!!

I have used Hornsby Electric time and time again, since before dinosaurs roamed the North Shore. I appreciate the opportunity to provide feedback... something that I haven't done before. Background note: I am a particularly harsh judge of workmanship and professionalism because I am an electrical engineer... I can report that every single tradesman that has come out to my place has been a responsive, responsible, attentive and intelligent electrician. I have thrown up all sorts of wiring conundrums; such as (what I thought would be) impossible to locate earth leak trips and every tech has solved problems and executed quality work all done in a timely fashion and at a very reasonable rates. I have assessed the quality of their workmanship uninterrupted for over 30 years (OK so maybe not quite as long as the dinosaurs) and it is truly excellent. More expensive than I was initially advised but the work was not straight forward and they did a good job.

I know we were having terrible problems with torrential rain, but because the switch was making noises and the globe kept blowing, I felt the problem should have been dealt with sooner. I am on my own so have to rely on someone else to help with the problem. When the electrician did finally come some 10 days later, the problem was fixed quickly.
