My experience buying from Hoover Fence was excellent in every respect. First, their website itself was well-organized and loaded with useful information (including pricing) about split-rail fencing, the type of fence I was replacing. Their customer service was exceptional. Early on I had a question about installation. The head of the company actually called me to respond fully to my question. I decided to visit the company's facility to personally examine the product I was intending to purchase. The look of the fence was important to me. The warehouse supervisor graciously took me around and showed me the available options to consider. When the materials arrived at my home, I was elated to see how good and solid everything looked. I knew the fence would look beautiful across my front yard. Summing up, I would say this about Hoover Fence: if you are a particular buyer and appreciate exceptional service, talk to Hoover Fence.

I paid over $30 for 2 day shipping, there was an arrival date next to it that was 2 days from purchase date. I did not receive them in 2 days and was met with only excuses of why! I essentially paid double for regular 3-5 day shipping because it arrived 5 days after the date of purchase. Only after saying I would post on social media was I offered half my money back.

We are having our house painted and I purchased the pressure treated post caps to replace the weathered ones. I primed and painted the new ones and they will be ready when the upper porch is finished.

I ordered a gate and mounting hardware, and they made sure to call me to let me know that the gate was going to be a couple of weeks out and to make sure that was all right. The hardware and gate ended up shipping separately, but everything was organized and orderly.
