No school cakes or giant monster munch. Absolutely raging. Not acceptable. This place is terrible.

I visited the ashington branch. The store was airy and clean . After I selected my goods off I went to the checkout. There were a couple of ladies in front of me and they were greeted with a hello by the checkout lady called jenna. .she was friendly and polite to them and even said thank you. Then it came to my turn what a jekyll and Hyde. I got no greeting I was giving no eye contact I got no please or thank you she was only interested in getting another member of staff on the tills so was talking to her colleague while zapping my products? 2 star service and that's being generous
I visit Home Bargains earlier this afternoon in Albany Road Cardiff, 1 of your staff name Luke ( he maybe a supervisor ) wearing red shirt walked in front of me when me and my son was looking at the shelf to see what drinks to buy, what he could have done is walked behind us and he did not even say 'sorry' or 'excuse me' for doing that, I found that is kind of 'rude' attitude towards customers. You know I work in retail myself so that kind of behaviour is not acceptable.

Absolutely love Home bargains online service! Well done. Not sure how you’ve managed it but it’s as addictive as going in the store, where you go in for one thing and come out with 10 more things you didn’t know you needed🤣 Deliveries are usually within 48hrs too, which is great.
I regularly buy stuff online and I have always been happy with my purchases. They sell the silica cat litter that I prefer due to low dust and it is very good value for money. Everything is well packed & protected in the box too. I have also been to a local store which was very clean and the staff were very polite.
Having a picture of police on Home Bargain means they work in partnership to set up innocent unsuspecting customer who are unaware that they're walking into a trap when they enter the store. In Home Bargain near Savins Mill, Kirkstall. They dropped a weed bomb in the first aisle as you walk in to frame people who'd just walked in. At the checkout when you go to pay, even though the smell isn't around at the checkout because you're not the carrier, the cashier will still press the bell to alert the police to you which will cause you to be under investigation/surveillance. Beware when you go to Home Bargain that if this happens to walk straight back out and go to another shop or save your money. Life is hard in a country that's steeped in corruption. I bet Russian authorities don't do this to Russian civilians going about their daily lives.
I bought a garden patio set from here in April at a really good price £250! It was a 6 seater black and grey set with glass table, cushions and an umbrella! We had hardly used it then after only 2 months the glass on the table shattered into thousands of pieces! Thank god we wasn't actually sitting at the table eating at the time but we could have been! I called the store to ask for a full refund and they agreed to this even though we hadn't kept our receipt! But they wanted us to take all the rest of the set back to enable this! This was not possible as we had to go and buy a new table in metal not glass obviously to go with our set as we had a family barbecue that weekend! We would be left with just a table and out of pocket! I feel they could have made an accepting in this case but they wouldn't so am left completely disappointed with the outcome! So people if any of you have a glass table from there be extremely careful, I would hate this to happen to anyone else, with a possible dreadful outcome and definitely do not buy one from them!
Great shop for everything you could need in personal care. Great selection of toys, housewares and sweet treats. Always pop in when im nearby one.
On the 31st of May at 06.45 I called in at Home Bargains Penrith to use their 24hour ATM. I withdrew £10 and left at 06.50. A full 5 minutes. On the 4th of June I received a Parking Charge Notice for £100. It informed me that there are parking notices around the carpark stipulating the parking conditions. I returned to Home Bargains Penrith to check the signage. There is a sign at the entrance which you do not notice as you are driving. It invites you to read the signage displayed around the carpark. I did this and it took at least 5 minutes because of the lines of smallprint at the bottom of the sign. So, the gate was locked open and Home Bargains Penrith offer a 24 hour ATM service at which I conducted business which took 5 minutes. Had I read the signage it would also take 5 minutes. A fine would be issued for either event. I contacted ParkingEye, the private company responsible for managing the carpark and issueing fines and made an appeal against the fine declaring it to be unfair. The appeal was rejected. I tried to contact Home Bargains Head Office using their email complaints service but this just directs you to contact the company that issued the fine. I have also contacted my MP regarding the underhand way money is extorted from customers using the 24 hour ATM. I am waiting for a reply. So, be warned of this dispicable conduct and prevent another victim of this parking scam in Home Bargains Penrith. Sent from AOL on Android
Love the website as it has items that my branch doesn't include and never really gets new things in unlike other branches which is a shame. So thankful for the website to order. Thankyou
I have shopped in HomeBargains in Broadway Norris Green, since they began. I have just recently had hip op & I went to HB for first time out with hubby & was walking with my crutch up the aisle & one of the staff pushed passed me muttering about the fact I was slow. I was shocked at her behaviour, which upset me. All she needed to do was let me pass & show some understanding.
Racist Indian manager, awful experience. Accused of something i never did, they had no evidence. They suspect people based on how they look. I also had my receipt, they told me they won't refund stuff next time. I was followed the next time I was spotted in the store after weeks.
My local at Newport Leisure Park, Seven Stiles Avenue, Newport, NP19 4QR, is fine. The store has a good selection of stock plus good parking. The downside is you have to hunt staff as they hide out the back, checkouts always rammed even though signs stating " NO MORE THAN 3 TO WAIT " reality is more like 30 in a queue. Staff well lack of on shop floor and checkouts is a let down
Visited Bishop Auckland store again today but have vowed not to return. Not stores fault but disabled parking is atrocious. Disabled bays outside gym approx 12 all in use, but only 1 blue badge displayed, also a distance from stores and also those outside store are at very end of car park. Very poorly situated and totally abused.
Ok, I agree you can get good deals here but I don't like some of ways they do business. E.g. their 'special offers' aren't what they make them out to be. I saw an offer of 3 flapjacks for a quid but they don't make it clear that their blueberry one isn't in the offer so you end up paying full price (for items they probably want to get rid of). It's only a few pennies but why the underhandedness? I won't shop here for 6 months so they'll be losing more (monetary terms) than me.
I loved this shop since it opened but, recently I have seen dogs in the store. Surely they must be the only shop in Sunderland that sells fresh food and allow this to happen. It is an unhygienic practise and Surely should be stopped. Is there nowhere a person can go now without seeing a dog.
I have been given a voucher from my granddaughter for my birthday to get garden items. I wanted a garden chair or bird table. My local store does not stock either item Told to order online for delivery. Tried to do this but vouchers are only acceptable in store. I therefore have a voucher which is of no use other than for small everyday items.
I opened a mini pack of ten chocolate donuts to find a fingerprint in my donut I was mortified and disgusted
Great store for bargains but the cashier staff are curt rude and unhelpful, especially in the morecambe branch.
