I live in the Akin Golden Triangle
I live in the Akin Golden Triangle. The sales team of Landing was very difficult to work with as information and pricing kept changing. I had to call almost every day for over a week before I could finalize the apartment due to an incompetent sales team. However, when I finally reached the property manager from Landings side named Anne, she took great care of me and has been a great communicator as I arrived to a gorgeous apartment in a great building. I love how Landings furnished the apartment. The unit was very clean, and I have been thrilled here. While there is a lot of construction surrounding the building, the building itself is extremely quiet and I don’t hear the construction at all. This was something that I was concerned about before moving in because I work from home, but it has truly not been a problem. I’m even thinking about extending my 2 1/2 month lease. The location is top notch and great for dog owners, such as myself. I am extremely happy now that I have arrived in the building!! Anne has continued to be super communicative through my move in and after. My recommendation is to stop communicating with the Landings sales team and connect with the Landings property manager.
I have had a pleasant experience using Landing. I was locked out of the apartment for 14-15 hours.
I have had a pleasant experience using Landing… until I didn’t. I came home after being out all day, went to unlock my door, and nothing happened. No light, no numbers to type in a code, absolutely nothing. I tried deleting the app and redownloading it per instructions I found online and nothing seemed to work. I ended up calling and talking to a woman named Isabel who said the battery was out on my lock and that she would figure out what to do and call me back. I was told there would either be someone coming out or they would send me information to have me stay in another unit that night. This happened around 4:00pm and I heard absolutely nothing from them. I ended up having to pay to get all my nightly essentials from the store and had to stay the night at a hotel next door. EXTREMELY unprofessional. The next morning I contact them again and was sent a door code… which baffled me considering I said the battery was out and I couldn’t even type in an access code. I contacted them at 6:00 and finally at 7:30 they sent a local locksmith out. The locksmith said he could not fix the lock and he ended up calling Landing who told the locksmith to break the lock and replace it with the original deadbolt, which keep in mind was not anywhere to be found in the apartment. The locksmith ended putting a new lock on my door and gave me the keys. Landing did absolutely nothing to help the situation, except call a locksmith 14 hours after my original complaint, which if I would have known that was the solution they were going to offer me I would have called a locksmith myself last night. I am repulsed by the behavior of this company and to top it all off, nobody has called me to check and make sure everything was okay. My piece of advice to you? Go with AirBnB cause Landing doesn’t care about your wellbeing whatsoever.
Love the place
Love the place, the staff is very helpfull!
Absolutely unacceptable experience
Absolutely unacceptable experience. I arrived after a 26-hour drive to find an apartment that was not only disgusting but clearly not cleaned before my arrival. There was a moldy very stinky hairball in the sink, brown stains on towels, black hair all over the bed and sheets, and a stain on the mattress cover. The apartment didn’t even have a trash bag — I had to walk to the store, clean and throw away someone else’s filth.
I submitted multiple issue reports with photos through their platform and followed up with a direct text. Not one meaningful response. The only offer I received was $50 off for a cleaning fee I would still have to pay for, as well as someone coming to “swap out towels” or “clean the sink” after I had already taken care of it myself. For $2,400/month, I expected a professionally cleaned, move-in-ready home — not a biohazard.
This level of neglect, lack of accountability, and poor customer service is shocking for a company that claims to provide “fully managed” and “hassle-free” rentals.
If you are specifically considering the unit in Denver CO in “The battery on Blake street” just be aware that the upstairs neighbors like to vacuum their floors at 12 am and stomp around all night and morning. I never got more than 5 hours of sleep each night.
If you value your time, health, and money, I highly recommend you look elsewhere.
