They kept me up to date with what was going on through out the process selling my Dior handbag. I use the consignment service it does take 30 days for payment to come through but they are trustworthy will definitely use this service again!!!
The handbag clinic are fine as I’ve bought bags from them a couple of times but for some reason they are letting the company down by using a terrible courier called DX delivery who have a bad reputation on trust pilot. DX lie about attempting delivery. This has happened twice to me now. I paid for next day delivery and waited at my flat all day. I have a small flat and my door bell didn’t ring once so the attempted delivery today at 13.55 was a total lie. I was at my desk by my window from midday onwards and the lying courier never turned up, no van appeared and my doorbell never rang. I won’t be buying from them again until they change to a professional delivery company. P.s I sent a message to DX now and they replied that this is an automated message sent when the driver can't make it. Terrible and unprofessional. Instead of sending a message which is understandable " due to unforeseen circumstances your delivery cannot be delivered today sorry for the inconvenience". They send a lie "your driver attempted delivery today". This undoubtedly will infuriate any customer who has been waiting at home all day !

I bought a goyard belvedere and it was fake I paid £3000 pound for it the lady at the desk said it a real mans bag so I believed her and then I went to mount street in London to the goyard store to get it checked over and the lovley lady Smantha went to me I'm Sorry sir it fake I went back to the store with the information the goyard store in mount street gave me to give to them when I went back to the store I got it and showed them the attitude stunk the lady refused to give me my money back and then the manger came to see what was going on and he went to the stuck up lady I take over he was very professional and he went to me I'm so sorry we sold you a fake bag he went I will give you a full refund to the card you paid on and he said we have a word with our buying team this should have been checked properly and I went it the girl with the attitude that sold me it and refused to give me my money back he said I will deal with that lady that informed you worng the manger was so professional thank got he was their to sort the girl mess out after she sold me a fake goyard bag

The service offers competitive pricing and responsive customer service but doesn’t appear to offer anything more than other sellers of preloved bags. The condition descriptions would be more helpful if they identified and highlighted wear on the bags in more detail and accuracy rather than generic condition. I would expect from the company name that guidance or conditioning of the leather would have taken place before sale. The bag hadn’t received any attention, which is what I believed the USP of the company to be. There was no certificate of authenticity with the bag The courier also missed their agreed delivery date which is an obvious inconvenience for a premium service.

Bought a Chanel bag, came in amazing condition; I do have to say I paid for Saturday delivery, it didn’t come on Saturday I’m assuming due to it being Black Friday a busy time period. However I was refunded the delivery fee. Overall would purchase from Handbag clinic again!

Was a little hesitant at first, but really pleased I took the plunge and purchased a beautiful mini gucci marmont bag. The whole process was so easy and straight forward. Communication was excellent from The Handbag clinic. Bag arrived within two days. Was kept up to date with emails. And was able to track my order. Bag was packaged well, had authentication card enclosed. Really pleased with my purchase.
They destroyed my birkin and Chanel 2.55, then told me I had to pay them to fix it. Handed in a birkin and Chanel 2.55 2 years ago. They posted the bags back to me and I wasn’t satisfied, but haven’t been in London since, so couldn’t take them in to get fixed (I wasn’t about to post a birkin). Thought I’d take them in next time I’m in the country. I had the opportunity to take the bags in January 2026, but they told me I’m outside the warranty and that I need to pay to fix THEIR mistakes. Mistakes being: - Birkin logo completely destroyed. Hermes use gold foil. They’ve used GOLD GLITTERY PAINT and smudged the paint all over the logo (getting the direction of the accent in the è wrong) and the bag now looks like a fake - Chanel 2.55 was dyed black and the bag is unwearable because the dye gets on everything it touches No joke, they’ve ruined 2 of the most expensive bags on the market. Do not use them. They don’t know what they’re doing. And their customer service is even worse. I am speaking to a lawyer and will proceed with legal action. Response to Handbag Clinic comment below: - I understand that time has passed. I’ve explained I don’t live in the country and you still couldn’t help me. - If the restored logo on the birkin is up to your standard, then your standards are on the floor. The logo is covered in cheap, glittery, gold paint. Vastly different to the gold foil used by Hermes. As I said, the accent on the ‘È’ isn’t even going the right way. Funny how you’ve since shelved using that ‘technique’ (received too many complaints, no doubt) - As for the Chanel bag covering everything in black dye, you’re trying to pass this off as colour transfer. I’ve worked in the industry for 10 years. This isn’t colour transfer. You can’t TOUCH the 2.55 you dyed without getting black on your hands. Absolute disgrace of a service. You should be ashamed.
This was the first time I had consigned a handbag with the Handbag Clinic so I will start with the positives. Their website was easy to navigate in terms of uploading photos and details of my item and they responded promptly with a consignment offer which I found to be fair. The process to send my item to them for authentication was trouble free and they were relatively quick to confirm its receipt, and kept me notified of when it had been prepared and photographed for the website. Having read carefully their T’s and C’s I was aware that they could take up to 30 days post sale and buyer cooling off period to pay which doesn’t compare too favourably with other consignment companies I have used, but noted they often paid within that timeframe. Now the negatives which have resulted in a 3 star rating: After about 6 weeks I had not received any communication on the status of my item. I checked their website and my item was shown as no longer available. I contacted their customer services, who I found to respond promptly to me contacting them, to learn that not only had my item sold but also the buyer 10 day cooling off period had also expired. I received no update on this despite their emails getting through to me with no problem when at the initial stage of consignment. I supplied my bank details and waited patiently for my money. I checked my account within a few days of the maximum 30 day period. No payment had been received. I had to contact the company again to chase. They responded within 24 hours and, surprise, my money appeared in my account the next day. I have to be honest and say the failure in communicating with me as a consignment customer took the shine off the experience. I have noted other sellers have had a similar experience reading other reviews so it would appear that this is not a one off. When I next decide to sell one of my bags I am minded to return to one of the other online consignment companies I have used in the past.
