I recently completed the online SSSTS refresher course, and it was thoroughly engaging and informative experience. The course was packed with valuable content and concluded with an online exam. It started with myself and four other candidates, led by the trainer, Paul Norman. Unfortunately. One candidate faced IT issues midway and had to leave, which delayed us by an hour. Despite this, Paul kept the session on track and ensured the rest of us completed the course successfully. His use of personal analogies to relate scenarios to the construction industry made the material relatable and easier to understand. Overall, a well-delivered course, and I’m pleased to say we all passed!

I had Andrew Hallett as my tutor for my online SMSTS course, and it was a pleasure. He conducted the course professionally while being friendly, engaging, and understanding. Naturally, things can go wrong with an online setup, but he handled everything calmly, never getting frustrated and always showing patience. The course itself is challenging, but Andrew guides you through all the essentials, making the material feel like common sense by the time you reach the exam. While I wouldn’t say I enjoyed sitting for hours on end (don’t worry, there are scheduled breaks!), I couldn’t be happier with the experience and the quality of teaching we received. Thanks for everything, Andrew and Goldcross!
I found all 3 tutors very knowledgeable, friendly and encouraging. I was the only female and they made me feel very comfortable amongst the group. I did the weekly day release and had Sunyan, Tony and Paul Norman as tutors and would highly rate all three.
