I recently took my 5 day SMSTS online course with Paul Nestor, his vast knowledge and experience, together with his professional approach, made the week both fun and educational. I'd like to extend a massive thanks to Paul, even if he started our (mock) project at the end of a very wet and muddy February! 😆 Goldcross will always be my first choice for further training. I have just concluded the SSSTS 2-day course with Goldcross Training, facilitated by Paul Stott. While I had initially thought that the 2-day learning would be a daunting experience (considering I will be losing my weekend), it turned out to be quite fun, interactive, and enjoyable. After the first day, I looked forward to the second which was even more engaging. Our tutor (Paul Stott) ensured that he covered all aspects required and provided guidance as we learned. He made sure the sessions were as interactive by giving us the opportunity to ask questions and also receive feedback from him, which really helped with the process of understanding the topics taught. Definitely a five-star learning experience.

Recently completed my SMSTS course (note to self, set an alarm for 4.5 years this time) with Goldcross, and Paul Stott as the lecturer. The negatives first……Paul supports Man City and calls lunch, ‘dinner’. Once I got my head around this strange behaviour, I was able to focus on the content!! Paul is honestly, one of the nicest, honest and most sincere people I’ve had the pleasure to meet, unfortunately only over Teams. The course was delivered professionally, efficiently and with complete engagement. You will be encouraged to NOT mute yourself and engage with him and the group, rather than sit there and be force fed. Paul was very honest in his personal experiences in construction and life, which was not only touching, but also refreshing to hear and drove home why we have made positive changes H&S in the Industry over the past 30 years. I can’t guarantee you’ll get Paul when you book the course, but if you do, you’re one of the lucky ones. Take care Paul

Well I can’t express how much I enjoyed my course SMSTS refresher. Thanks to gold cross but to honest they are blessed by having such a good trainer as Paul Stott. I’ve been on a few courses over the years and to be honest it can be quite tedious and boring. Not with Paul he covered all the content confidently with all the relevant information but with a personal touch which was funny, relevant and involved a very mixed bag of personalities. For me if you can’t connect with a subject or person you can switch off. This didn’t happen he mixed personal experiences and content perfectly. I’m looking forward to working with him again soon with him and will personally ask for him alone to train myself and my employees. My only negative comment is his choice of shirts a private joke I think he should insist on Fridays I’ll leave that to his future teams to enjoy and discuss further. Team Stott 👍🏻💪💪

Hi I just completed SMSTS course with Tony Miller and must say it was the most in-depth and as fun I never expected it to be. Top tutor in he's element I highly recommend for anyone to get a little background to safe running of construction operations
