Real people with understanding and prompt action when required. I have received excellent service from this company.

It all seemed to go smoothly, but it was not clear from your (to me) ambiguous response whether or not I had done what was required.

Recently we have had some outages which were unexpected and this has been somewhat frustrating. However prior to this, we had no problems at all.
I did not experience any downtime with service. Download and upload speeds were consistently great. Very swift with responding to customer's questions. I roamed with the wireless router from Southampton to London and finally to Newcastle without a glitch in service.
Hi -We signed up with (expletive deleted) service provider when we first moved away from dial-up maybe fifteen years ago or more. Them were the days; the telephone bills ran up by the kids almost had us living in a pothole and eating gravel for breakfast. The service provided by our (expletive deleted) provider was bad to begin with and gradually got worse. When Q-sat arrived we signed up at once as we could see the sky from our house. The service from Q-sat and later F-sat has always been excellent; it may have been limited in present day terms but it was sufficient to our needs. Problems that arose over the years were few and far between. Techie support always was really supportive the few times a problem arose; the techie support people always were very 'supportive' and knowledgeable. We are leaving F-sat with a great deal of regret but the satellite link has died of old age and would cost a fair bit to replace. Our new link seems to have little or no techie support available; this may be a problem at some stage for someone who started his working life as a boy milking cows by hand in candlelight. (tell that to a modern kid and you may have to explain the terms "milking", "cows", "by hand" and "candlelight") As mentioned, we are leaving with a great deal of regret. The satellite has been something of an old friend for many years. We may be back! Slan agus beannacht. James and Ann Farrell.
The cost is too high for what you get. The set up cost us £300 (about 5 years ago), which was bad enough then £30 per month, which went up a couple of years back to £31.50 per month. (4GB of data). The download speed wasn't brilliant but I found quickly that I could use the whole allowance in a day, if I watched a couple of Netflix films. That was the last time I did that. You can add to it, but it costs a fortune to do that and unlimited broadband was around £75 per month, which is extortionate. Our broadband didn't work for about 6 months, (its at a caravan) and as my husband was working in the area and didn't have time to ring them about it, he tried resetting and everything, but it wouldn't work. When we went on holiday, we called and they said it hadn't been working for some time and the modem had failed. We cancelled the broadband, even though we had paid for that month, which we haven't got back and, to add insult to injury, good job I cancelled the direct debit because now they are chasing us for money for October, despite cancelling in writing. Atrocious service and they basically have you, if you have no other means of internet. On top of which they still expected you to pay during lockdown, even if you couldn't access it.
My internet went down and I had to call the UK office who answered promptly and in a very friendly manner and put me through to Tech Services. Gary in Tech Services couldn't have been more helpful and managed to sort the issue out after nearly three hours trying all routes. Very much appreciated and excellent service, even calling me back after everything had been sorted to check it was OK.
Getting better all the time. I've been a Bentley Walker customer for over 5 years and the friendly, approachable tech support team have been on hand to resolve problems without fuss; often going above and beyond my expectations. Thank you.
Having never tried satellite internet before I was worried about costs, technical requirements etc. Bentley Walker have been absolutely brilliant. Friendly and easy to speak to and definitely more affordable than I thought it might be. Because we're quite remote we chose to install ourselves and it was easy to phone up for a bit of support for the final hurdle of getting the signal. Super impressed and would thoroughly recommend to anyone considering satellite internet.
I was getting my broadband via satellite before I joined Bentley Walker but the company I was with made me feel blue to the point of desperation; I used to dread having to contact them. Since joining Bentley Walker two years ago every contact I have had with them has been excellent. All the staff I have dealt with are helpful, knowledgeable and do what they say they are going to do. Moreover I feel treated like a human being rather than a problem. I can put my hand on my heart and say it is pleasure – and a relief – to be with Bentley Walker.
Excellent service, very helpful and full of knowledge. Our broadband speed from main cable was 2mbps, Bentley Walker set us up with a 4g router with high gain multi directional antenna and we are now getting 35mbps. We can now stream to our hearts content and it’s great on Xbox live. I would recommend investing in a mesh deco system to improve the WiFi signal throughout your home.
I live in a rural area and its very difficult to get an internet connection. I've been very pleased with the Freedomsat setup I've been with them for a few years. Obviously it's not quite the same as a connection that you would get in a city but I find I can do everything I need. I was most impressed with the service team. When I asked questions recently about how to check my data usage I got a very swift reply that I could easily understand and it worked. Human help!! THank You. Louise
I received excellent service, much appreciated. My case was a non-standard one, but Freedom 4g handled it beyond my expectations in a professional way rarely seen these days.
Freedom indeed. Not only do you get a UK based support team with real people who understand the technical elements and I willing to talk you through any questions you may have both before and after your purchase get the speeds needed for modern working from home life and play. Living in a Rural part of northern Scotland and having tried numerous mainstream providers from BT to 3 we were unable to ever get above five or 6 Mb a second download and that was only on a good day with the wind in the right direction. Having tried to buy a few of the 4G antennas off Amazon to supplement my mainstream providers box signal, with no success or support I grew steadily more frustrated and with Covid and the needs of the whole family working from home it was time for a change. If you are looking for a 4G package in the UK in a Rurel area these guys I cannot recommend highly enough we now have speeds north of 30 Mb a second regularly. They helped identify that we would benefit from an omnidirectional aerial which arrived next day along with the WiFI box and the Sim card and within 72 hours we had the fastest Internet I've ever seen in our area. It's even even quicker wifi speeds than in my office in a city centre... It Maybe a little bit more of an upfront cost than you are used to if they recommend you to buy an antenna for where you are based but as these are monthly rolling contracts with no obvious penalties I would strongly recommend going for it.
Just spent the last day using our 4G router from Bentley Walker that has transformed our internet usage. We have been checking the O2 coverage map for any chance of improved coverage, as suggested by the tech team at Bentley Walker. Their advice together with our own checking of the actual 4G coverage led us to purchase their new 4G router. Ordered the router one day, it arrived the next day and the following day we called Bentley Walker to activate the SIM card. From the far south of the country to the far north in such a short time was very good service. Once the sim was activated the router is ready to plug in and very easy to set up. The tech team talked me through the very easy set up process. Our old satellite system was a bit hit and miss, not to mention all the latency problems and has now been retired. Truly liberating to have the 4G router that can be taken anywhere there is 4G coverage.
Dont buy a satellite broadband system from FreedomSat before you have tested it on your property. The system is so slow that it wont even download gmail at our house. When I complained they said you the system is fine. The 50GB allowance per month was gone in 3 days and we hadnt even used it. I told them on day 1 that the system was useless to me and they should take it out if they cant improve it. They now say they dont consider that my email of complaint was a formal statement and so i cant have a refund or stop my monthly payments for the term of the contract because i am outside the returns period of 7 days..I made my complaint on day 1. I will now have to watch while another £800 is taken from my account over the next year while i dont use the system at all.
