My trip was cancelled with no refund. No refund from Kelly McCoy. No follow-up or support. Disappointed and feel betrayed with the service

They will cancel last minute on you and also their so called advisor is dishonest Kelly Mccoy I hope this company will be more transparent and fair with customers Id be aware before committing your hard earned money I don't even know if they give refunds probably not?

We had a mixed experience with Fora Travel. I submitted a request for an agent to assist with hotels in Costa Rica. I did not hear back, but upon reaching out again was connected with Kris Weir. Kris was helpful in selecting two places to stay in Costa Rica. She stated she would excursion/tour recommendations prior to our trip but never did. Upon arriving at the second hotel, we discovered there was an issue with our room and the hotel had communicated the issue to the Fora agent, Kris, but she never contacted us. I also emailed Kris directly upon being informed of the issue by the hotel, but she did not respond (I did not have a phone number for her to call). To this day, I never heard one word from Kris informing us of the issue, giving us resolution options, or even apologizing for the error. She did not respond to any of my messages once we were traveling in country. To say this was disappointing is an understatement. Luckily we were able to resolve the issue at the second hotel on our own, but I will never trust Fora Travel again and cannot recommend it to others.

Best host agency technology

Fora Travel has been an absolutely amazing host agency to work with! Their support for advisors is unparalleled, offering thorough training, professional development, site visits, conferences, and a welcoming space for advice (and even the occasional venting session). The HQ team is incredibly uplifting and genuinely invested in our success, constantly improving their offerings to help us grow. I’m blown away by the progress they’ve made in the short 16 months I’ve been with them, and I couldn’t be happier or more grateful to have found Fora to launch my second career. It’s truly a game-changer in the travel industry!

Since I joined Fora Travel I have been very busy, exploring around everything they have to offer, it is a great learning experience. There is so much to do you don’t have time to get bored, they keep you alert and informed about all changes in the industry. They prepare you to improve your knowledge and business.. I am so happy to be part of Fora, I try no to miss any of the dailies webinars and teaching.. it is a very professional community and I am planning to stay as long as the are in business!

We recently used Michelle McDaniel Bielat to book our airfare from Portland, OR to Croatia, as well as our hotels, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. She found us the perfect flights with minimal layovers and great pricing—especially considering the busy travel season. The hotels Michelle booked for us were all in fantastic locations and met our needs perfectly. What really stood out was the attention to detail. Michelle made sure everything was organized and stress-free, so we could focus on enjoying our trip instead of worrying about logistics. We truly appreciated her help with making our trip to Croatia seamless and unforgettable. We highly recommend Michelle for anyone planning a trip. She was professional, thorough, and genuinely cared about making our vacation special. We’ll definitely be booking with her again for future travels!

The service and communication is outstanding with Fora.

Being an advisor with Fora Travel has been an incredible experience. They have great training videos and an incredible community that makes learning about the travel industry simple and interesting; finding answers to questions is always just at your finger tips. They have a great support team and their assistance with with managing commissions and payments with vendors is invaluable! It allows you to do the fun parts of being a travel advisor! Not to mention an incredible advisor portal with new product updates to help you manage your business.

Such a wide variety of travel options through FORA. You can keep searching for the combination of locations and experiences that define your trip and meet your budget.

Great training for new advisors and great wealth of information.

Fora is an amazing host agency for travel advisors! I’ve been with them for about 18 months and my experience has been nothing short of fantastic. They provide extensive training, support, and a tech platform which is always improving with new features and functionality. In addition you have access to a community of thousands of advisors around the world who graciously share their experience and expertise. For new travel advisors Fora is a dream come true. You feel that you are part of this larger organization but have the freedom and flexibility to run your business as you wish.

I cannot say enough good things about Fora! From the incredible leadership, endless resources to better yourself and grow your business to the inclusive and fun community! A++ My only criticism is the fact that I have lost a client to becoming her own Fora advisor. I know “anyone” can essentially be an advisor, but I would encourage Fora to tweak its marketing on how they approach recruiting for more advisors.

Low barrier to entry but LOTS of training. The HQ staff is very helpful and responsive and I love the community aspect. I’ve made great friends and built a wonderful business for myself.

As I am new to the travel industry, the platform and support is phenomenal. I am excited about the new Houston chapter! Can't wait to keep learning!
