Need more soap and shampoo and toilet paper. Also, kleenix, for week long visit. Generally a very comfortable visit.

The location was perfect within walking distance of the beach. The house was perfect, spacious, clean and service provided timely when called. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

The home was lovely. A few minor things that needed attention. Once we call, Steve the maintenance man came running. He stated that he knew of issues. The pool was dirty when we arrived. Once they cleaned the pool I told them the heater was supposed to be on. They said that the pool didn't have a heater. I paid for 3 days for heat only to find that there wasn't a heater on it. $30 a day plus an extra $25 for requesting heat within 3 days of arrival. The home was well equipped with utensils, pots, and pans ect. There was enough seating / room for everyone. Overall we had a great time! I would reserve again once the weather warms up.🥰

Easy to work with. Prompt with emails, etc. Property rented was as listed and expected.

Enjoyed the house with a group of friends. Customer service with Fivestar - they were responsive in a timely manner.

House was large and the 2 master bedrooms were nice. House could of been a lot cleaner. The floors were dirty (black socks, day 1) and there was only a dirty broken broom and a dirty mop to try to clean them more ourselves. 5 of the 6 TVs didn’t work for over half our stay. We contacted the rental company and nothing was done. It’s a nice short walk to the beach. It would of been nice if they would of provided a beach wagon to carry things tho. No where to sit outside. No patio. No backyard. Nice neighbors. Rental company sent someone out to bring us a broom we could use and the man wasn’t friendly. He was rude and very put out that we wanted to be able to clean for the week we were there. It’s not a bad house but could definitely use a good cleaning and more friendly workers. I gave it 3 stars because it could be worse but it could be a lot better too!

Excellent location, but home feels dated considering how much the rental costs. Pool was not heated when we got in despite paying for it, and had to have the pool guy come out several times before the heat was functional, but once it worked, was great. Responsiveness of Five Star Properties throughout stay was great.

This was the most beautiful vacation home I’ve experienced in my life. The customer service was so delicate & always calling to check in to see if we needed anything. Thank you for making such a wonderful memory

We had a fabulous trip to Destin to celebrate a birthday. Great place & space to spread out and enjoy. We and our 3 grown children & their spouses had great space for privacy but most of all enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen and dining space and getting to relax and enjoy our family together. Mgmt. Co was incredibly responsive to all of our needs. Freezer went out and they offered to replace our food and sent maintenance promptly. A few other issues were addressed quickly! Note, the house we stayed has a FABULOUS beach location, but is not very private if that is what you are looking for...we unknowingly traveled on spring break and our next door neighbors had 12 children in the pool from sun up to 10pm and the 12 adults constantly played music loud. The houses are super close together and could use some privacy fencing on the decks or pots with plants (anything.) There is nothing you can't say or see between the homes and your neighbors The views of the beach are beautiful, the complimentary 2 sets of umbrella/chairs were perfect and the separate guest quarters were perfect for anyone that needed to work during the day!

Our large family of 14 including grandchildren had the opportunity to rent Palazzo Del Mar on the beach and it was amazing. The codes for entry/exit made it easy, house was in great shape, the location on the beach with our own private staircase and the set up of 3 umbrellas and 6 chairs in a reserved spot was unbelievable. Rarely is a house better in person than in the pics, but this time it was. Everyone had their space, they even had a wonderful playroom for the toddlers. I cooked/picked up meals and had everything I needed in the kitchen. The pool with a covering made it ideal so no one got sunburned while swimming and we were able to swim even on a rainy afternoon. The fire features and water bowls just put the outdoor area over the top. Perfect place for a large group and worth the $$$$

The house was great.... the family enjoyed the area.... the house needs a few things to make it Homie like trash cans throughout the house we had to changed the trash so many times in one day.... Five Star reached out several time and came over to fix the TV’s because we had about three or four that wasn’t working... the issue was resolved... but I must stay even tho we had a few ups and downs the house was a success... I think I need a discount tho...because the ice machine wasn’t working down stairs and the wine cooler on the third floor didn’t work....

The house was perfect for our brief stay at Santa Rosa Beach. Access to the beach and pools at Watercolor were only a few steps away. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are planning another trip in the near future. While all worked, you may want to check the bathroom sinks for slow drainage.

We booked a home through VRBO that was managed by 5 Star. We tried to use the VRBO system to get some questions answered etc but they were unresponsive. After multiple attempts to contact the host I google'd their company and was able to reach them via phone. They were very helpful contacting them in that manner but it should have been noted in the VRBO system to call direct for a response. Our rental home also came with beach chair service. The instructions on how to locate the chairs area was very vague. There are multiple entrances to Destin Beach so we text their system and they did respond with where to go. Once we arrived we still could not locate our chairs and there was no attendant at the stand to ask. Not a huge deal overall but the initial communication was lacking. Our rental was perfectly set up, lights were on when we arrived, fresh towels everywhere, bikes to use on the property, pool heated etc. Overall experience was great but could not give 5 stars due to the initial communication gap and difficulty in getting the beach chairs.

Great vacation rental! The hot tub could stand to be a little warmer but plenty of room in the house with everything we needed! The whole family had a great time.

Always attentive to our needs

Our experience with Five Star Properties was beyond our expectations. Ocean Escape was the perfect escape for my family in spite of the weather. It rained most of our stay. The house was very clean, cozy and comfortable so staying in and lounging on the balcony was perfect! The neighborhood was amazing. The people we met were all so very nice even those who were on staff at the property. We also enjoyed a nice bike ride around the neighborhood. Our only regret was the short length of our stay. We did not want to leave and definitely look forward to visiting again!

We were impressed with Five Star and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Turquoise on the Gulf in Destin. It was perfect for our large family of 15. We particularly loved the spacious main gathering area. Ideal for being together and not once feeling crowded. Multiple balconies with great views, great pool area and overall amazing vibe! Be aware that like most multi-level homes in Destin, there are a lot of stairs. Five Star was for the most part very responsive and proactive. We had one minor service issue that got overlooked. But once Five Star got tuned into it, they were all over it and moved promptly to address it. Would recommend Five Star as an organization and Turquoise on the Gulf as a property for any larger group or family!

The home was great and conveniently located to beach. I really enjoyed the morning bike rides and definitely a plus the home is in a gated community.

Customer service is 10/10. I have booked two vacations over the span of several years (2016 and 2021), and I absolutely recommend Five Star Properties. Any issues I had with my rentals were handled quickly and professionally.

Our place was wonderful fit our needs perfectly was in a great location .. my only complaint was that the master bedroom downstairs didn’t cool down enough at night .. almost thought something was wrong with it!! Other than that .. it was perfect!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
