Everything went really smoothly from my initial appointment, the measuring up and the actual day of the fit. Everyone who came to my home was considerate to the logistics of measuring and fitting regarding my 4 house cats and keeping them safe. The day of the fit went really well and the 3 gentlemen who did the fit polite and very professional. They did an amazing job. I'm really pleased with my 4 new windows (upstairs) and new front and back doors. They have added value and security to my home along with a much more efficient home regarding heat loss and drafts which I know I will feel the positive impact of in the winter months.

Decided to cancel the deal next day,(got much better offer elsewhere) called office/emailed office trying to get deposit back, no response for a week now. Manager Simon from Manchester branch ignoring and not returning calls back. Super nice and professional till the point you sign agreement after that no one cares, fake smiles and politeness. Rude!

The gents who came to replace my windows and bathroom windows were fantastic polite and courteous at all times, phone me when they were on there way explained everything while they were working they were really polite when they had finished installing they cleaned up after themselves left everything spotless I am well pleased with job they did well worth getting first home improvements to get the job done many many thanks to kieron and archie for doing a smashing job i would highly recommend first home improvements for window replacements.

Michael & Raymond Perry were very friendly, efficient and explained everything regarding my new bathroom windows and back door. Tidied up and left room as it was before they started. Would definitely have these 2 back to do my kitchen window.

The fitters arrived early and introduced themselves to me. They put covers on the floor and over furniture and ensured it was tidy. The windows were fitted carefully and look very good happy with the fitting. The fitters left everything tidy and clean. They showed me how the windows work and ensured I was happy with them. The changing of the window was done and I was very impressed.

This was a repeat installation because I foolishly decided to omit the front door from the installation in March. The new door makes the world of difference to my property. I was able to choose the design for the surround and the door itself. They were even kind enough to allow a slight reduction in cost. The installation itself was smooth, efficient and quick. I am pleased with the result.

I am very happy with the sales person Naveed and the installers Iftikar and Allan. They are all very nice and patient. The installers were were clean and fast. They explained how the windows worked, they asked me if they can enter the property ( so did their manager who also came to my house). I am extremely happy with them. They really did not destroy the walls around the windows as I was mostly worried. Everything looks like it was before just with new windows. I highly recommend First home improvement. Also, the cost was not what I expected. The final sum was much more manageable than expected for 5 windows. Moreover, they gave me reduction because they took my windows for recycling. Thank you guys, I am very grateful for your great work.

We bought and had 8 windows installed through First Home Improvements and it's difficult to put into words the positive difference it has made to our overall quality of life. Not a sentence I'd ever thought I'd say. Our previous windows were 10+ years old, having moved in a few years ago we knew it was a change we would have to make eventually and added it to the list of things to improve over time. The quality of the new windows is incredible, the installation went without a hitch. The difference it's made aesthetically to the exterior and interior of the house is obvious due to poor installation of our last windows by a different company. The new windows, (despite being the same size and an almost like for like swap) make the house feel brighter, the rooms more inviting and more comfortable to be in. The biggest differences have been the decreased street noise and energy efficiency. The improvements were immediately noticeable. Our house is old, hadn't been maintained well, it was cold and it didn't retain heat at all. The street noise was something we'd just accepted and became used to. Our dog would bark at every single noise outside and was constantly on alert. Car doors closing, the postman, foot traffic, cars etc. Now? My dog is calmer, more relaxed, he can nap during the day and isn't being disturbed constantly. I no longer have to worry about being disrupted in my work/spare time, I don't get awoken by loud passers by, and we can't hear the postman coming up the path anymore! I work from home a lot of the time and would put the heating on during the day when a jacket wasn't enough because of how cold it felt. Now, not an issue. Our gas/heating use has reduced, our overall energy efficiency has improved (based on our energy company app which gives a smart score on usage) and makes the house a nicer place to be even on a cold miserable day. It's saved us money in a few months already. As we had them installed during spring and the weather's been surprisingly good time will tell when winter rolls around but I can't wait to see the difference 12 months makes to our overall savings and energy efficiency. Our entire experience with First Home Improvements has been fantastic from start to end. Every member of staff I have spoken with has been professional, friendly and helpful. From the first knock on the door, the sales team, admin staff, installers and everyone else in between. There were no pushy sales tactics or pressure and it was all a really simple process, fast turnaround and affordable for us. I would whole heartedly recommend. I hope others have a positive experience and that you see similar short and long term benefits as we have had. Thank you!

If you're looking for new doors and windows look no further. I was impressed with the non pushy sales from Brandon, explaining in detail their products and answered all my questions, thank you. I wasn't rushed into making a decision and even when I changed my mind on the front door the next day, nothing was too much trouble and was easily changed. Thanks to Alfie too who worked in the background. On the day of installation Luke and Dan were professional and friendly and were a pleasure to have in my home. They explained what they were doing and cleaned everything up when finished. My doors and windows look great, I am so pleased with my choice, the quality is of a very high standard and I'm pleased with the price. Thank you to all too for being so thoughtful around my little dog.
