We had a meeting this evening with a lovely young gentlemen named Rob, who took through the entire process explaining in detail how everything works and the benefits and differences between their range. Can't recommend the company enough, Rob was polite, accommodating and very knowledgeable. Fantastic!

The fitters Charlie & Dave were very professional from start to finish & polite at all times. They hardly had a break in the time they were here.

We had alot of windows to be replaced so very happy with the price the fitters were all polite and friendly Jamie and Jack never stopped tidied up before they left second day two more fitters came equally polite and friendly the windows look amazing would definitely recommend

The windows are great they help keep the heat in and lower heating Bill's also the fitters were very professional and friendly and just got on with the job in hand no time wasting and they cleaned up after themselves and took all the rubbish away with then all in all we are very pleased with them and the price was fair which helps

Nice experience😊 The initial consultation appointment was rather long, our appointment was booked for 6.30pm…they didn’t leave until gone 11.30! We have 2 young children so was quite inconvenient. We couldn’t put our children to bed yet as they still hadn’t done the initial measurements for a quote until 10.30. The quote came to a staggering amount, an amount I’ve never heard anyone have for their windows! £20.000!!! Magically they were able to knock the price down considerably, we eventually went for just our upstairs windows done as it was a priority and even that was still £3.500. We also felt a bit uncomfortable knowing they were adamant they were getting us to sign there and then, there was no have a think and get back to us, they told us if we didn’t sign that evening then the offer would no longer be available, putting us in a very hard situation. When it came to having the windows done the lads who did it couldn’t have been more polite and lovely!

RE: JOB REF: 123092, Firstly, the sales rep promised what it transpired afterwards by the surveyor I clearly could not have so that was disappointing. However, after a good chat with one of the managers I compromised on a different side panel with glass reflecting a lower price. The surveyor was very accurate and knew his job inside out so that was most reassuring.The company obliged a fitting date that was suitable for me and the fitter was done fitting 2 doors and frames in 5 hours and worked at pace . However I noted he put the board sign up to advertise the company before he was halfway through fitting the front door and had he concentrated on that door more he would have noticed the external bar was not straight. Also, after pointing out to him the overhead jagged edge that was left on the fairly newish plastered kitchen where he fitted the back door, he point blank refused to rectify stating the company does not do painting. It was clearly a making good job and a finishing with beading job as subsequently proved. The fitter was experienced and overall did a good job whilst being supplied with refreshments . Just a shame on his part he overlooked the finishing touches on both doors for different reasons and realised he’s not always right! . I am no engineer but when they sent their engineer Mark out to finish off he was an absolutely lovely guy who I felt comfortable with straight away . He finished the job off to perfection in a detailed timely manner noticing and rectifying further remedial work needed around the inside frame area of damaged plaster by the window ledge. - most professional indeed - five stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for him. I would also point out to be aware that THE COMPANY DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY CREDIT CARD 💳 METHOD OF PAYMENT FOR THE BALANCE DUE.. This, I was most annoyed about as it’s clearly detailed when paying the deposit to be able to do so and nobody pointed this out at the point of contract . It cost me ultimately a further £70 bank transfer fee . It transpires it is in the very minute small print on the contract 📑 but clearly not obvious and whilst one is expected to read the small print - let’s face it , who does and in this case most elderly people such as myself would find it extremely difficult to do so, especially with poor eyesight, even with glasses 👓 on . When the fitter Mike pointed it out to me whilst fitting the doors (the first I learned of it) it took me nearly three quarters of an hour to find it. I have since repeatedly pointed this flaw out to the company and was assured it will be looked at and if need be, rectified. Well I hope so for future customers but it hasn’t helped me as a pensioner being £70 worse off ! All that aside I am very pleased 😀 with my new doors - they look classy too and so they ought to for what they cost! Would I recommend the company going forward ? Yes, I have their advertising board at the front of my property and despite all the teething issues, overall, the people I spoke with at the offices have been approachable, helpful and concerned about putting things right👍🏻 . Had it not been for the above stated issues, (particularly being £70 worse off - as that has hit me hard)I would have given a five 5️⃣ star 🌟 but no offer of compromise or goodwill gesture was forthcoming in this regard and that is the main point where they fell down in my view but the product is very good along with the overall fitting and the engineer Mark was exceptional 👏 - I am now awaiting my written guarantees in the post - thank you 🤩

Very efficient, polite and cleared up very well afterwards. I had a side door replaced on the side of my garage which was some what falling to pieces. Also had a a securing lintel put it. Excellent.

Horrible experience with sales man I don’t know why I made a appointment with horrible people to come in to my house forcing me to sign the contract on the spot I told them I need to talk to my wife /son to let you know tomorrow but totally scam they want you to sign and take their so called discounts offer normally 3 times more than locally.i even heard salesman talking to someone and making cheap gestures like they forcing you to sign ridiculous price.we been very lucky not to go ahead with this company spend nearly 3 hours trying to sell me windows for about 19 thousand pounds for 4 medium size and one very small size window and one front door standard size nothing special..ridiculous prices please I advise everyone of you stay away from this company at any cost

Just had a new door fitted today by FIRST HOME IMPROVEMENTS, and I must say that it has made a small difference already, but time will tell over a long period. As for the fitters Kieron & Archie made a good job of it, also polite with it. Overall I would recommend this company as we've had other doors in the past from this company. thankyou everybody. So had a booking today at 1 for a quote - at 2 mins past we received a call, i apologised and confirmed I was turning onto the property road and apologised. I Arrived at 5 past, again apologised for being late as my meeting ran over. The man; aka primarks answer to rylan clarke just ignored my apology and acted generally unfriendly and disinterested - fine, it’s 4 mins. The fact you called your boss crying at 1:00 that I wasn’t there is telling - as if he called me at 1.02, you had to be moaning we were late before we were even late. He asked my name and I told him, we entered the property - which is all back to bare brick at the moment as it’s due to start an extension (usually where people get windows). This is where overweight Rylan, in an attempt to assert dominance (I’m presuming), interrupts me mid sentence and says ‘what’s your name again love’ (25 seconds after the first time I told him) once I again confirmed my name to my friend with short term memory loss, he went on to say ‘right coral, I’m not doing this it’s a hazard’. I was a little stunned - he goes on to say it’s unsafe and there’s trip hazards and wires. Admittedly it’s a shell but my guys acting like there was sparking wires near a puddle of petrol, so dramatic. Especially given that we had two petite blondes from separate companies come and quote us yesterday with no issues - I have images of the property - it’s empty, with no trip hazards and certainly no loose wires. So, my little princess Rylan got back into his 02 plate focus and drove back to his white pristine council flat where he was safe from work and harms way. Basically don’t bother - unless you’re willing to accommodate the most strangest human behaviour I’ve ever witnessed feebly make excuses to not do his job - all because he decided that it’s appropriate to come fake tanned up with hair dyed as natural as Katie prices’ like he’s off to the opening of his local Ladbrokes - afraid of some dust. I’m still in shock 😂😂😂 watching two ladies happily take measurements to an orange man refusing to cross the boundary. Whilst I, a woman is stood there in a cream outfit with cream shoes and somehow haven’t died - because it’s literally just an empty house. Utterly Hilarious but a massive waste of everyone’s time.
