Seems like I should have read the reviews first. Like most others I applied for £500, was "approved" and provided bank statements and Passport ID as they requested this for their "final checks". 3 days later they called to verify all my details and an affordability check. Advisor said I've passed everything and I don't need to supply any further information. She then said she will pass it on to the team "for final checks" and I should hear back in 3-5 days! Never know a loan company to drag the process out so much. From these reviews I'm either expecting them to now decline the loan or approve it (again) but not pay out. They obviously don't read the bad reviews as everybody gets the standard copy & paste response (I'm sure I will too). Not quite sure what they're gaining by being so slow and unprofessional but I'm regretting applying for sure.

Frankly I am utterly baffled by their decision making process. I had a loan out with Likely Loans for £4544.09p over a 30 month repayment window. It was costing me £255.52 per month to pay it back. I never ever missed a payment once. Now I absolutely rated your company because I had 0 issues during my loan and was very keen to take another out to do some home improvements and just improve generic quality of life. You even emailed me upon completion of paying off my loan that you'd like to offer me another one! Fantastic I thought! I go through your eligibility tracker and NADA, denied, no reason given, I did contact yourselves for the specific reason, since the new loan I was applying for was for £3000 over 28 months, for I think it was approx £155/month, which was a whole £100/cheaper than my previous loan. It makes absolutely 0 sense to be denied, especially considering my financial wellbeing if anything is actually better off than when I first applied for a loan?!!? I did contact yourselves and query all this and was told a backend team would get in touch, this was over a month ago and nothing.

They deserve a zero star rating. They will continue to lead you on, then get you to send ur confidential documents, after which they will decline your loan application. Not good for your credit score!

The spealist was very good with putting me at ease through our conversation on my case. Which made it easier to understand what was being said to me and the way forward. Grateful

Awful customer service, long process, terrible communication and zero transparency. Taken nearly a month to get the money and what is owed back is more than quoted

Poor communication Contradictory information Interest applied without warning causing account to slip into arrears (despite previous conversation confirming no payment needed till next installment) without any notification from Finio. Only spotted it when I logged in myself. Application process drawn out and impossible to get straight answer as they only give you half the information. Very poor

Was given a settlement amount to pay off the loan, paid it and now told it is incorrect and need to pay more. I will go to the FCA if needs be as I am getting nowhere with Customer Service. Update - I complained and everything has been sorted out, so adjusted my rating accordingly.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I was guaranteed a triple lock loan from a credit agency I fill out the form online and was approved then received an email saying sorry its been declined 2 days later with also left a hard search and negotiative inpact on my file. Also the chat line are useless it like talking to AI. STAY AWAY Stay away for them

The worst company i have ever dealt with. The customer service team are non existent, do not understand basic english and just repeat themselves! Its a nightmare!!! Agreed a new payment date and they took 2 payments! I then made an additional payment and despite the new date being agreed and arguing this.. they then took another payment from that and the interest shot up!!! Its never going to be paid off. Its the worst decision lead by the most stupid people!! Stay away, youll thank yourself in the long run

I was 100% pre approved through Experian. I clicked the link and was then pre approved before entering me details on the website. Once I have entered my personal information I was then told I was approved for a loan. I then received an email saying I had been declined, which has now left a negative impact on my credit rating. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Lots of complaints with regards to Finio's customer service, but that wasn't an issue for me. Solid and attentive customer service when called upon via the live chat and on the phone. Where they fall short is the waiting period for payment of a loan (3-5 days) and lack of an update in regards to the status of an application. Unacceptable. So on that basis I just wouldn't recommend them as a go to. Other loan agencies like Lending Stream respond quickly and you can register details with them and set up an account. Finio failed at this too.

absolute jokers.. have you downloading bank statements etc taking your details etc , making out everything is set up correctly ,,then after a few days refuse to issue the loan to be fair after reading reviews on here i probably dodged a bullet.

the worst service going 1 I've called, emailed, web chat loads no luck 2 they interupt you all the time 3 they don't listen I said I got a new job I can pay on the 5th of each month STILL NOT DONE THIS COMPANY DOES NOT LISTEN TO YOU

Finio loans are like every other loan company offer you a loan then send marketing information saying about a “top up” to reject you. A joke because if you buy Apple products on interest free they count as loans which after so many loans they have a negative impact on credit score. Would be good if companies looked at history with themselves (always been paid, never been late).

I strongly advise against using this company. Despite their promises that funds would be processed immediately, it took around six days—far longer than expected. From the very beginning, I’ve faced major issues. Setting up a simple direct debit turned into a nightmare involving over 20 back-and-forth emails. The customer service is appalling—responses are often incorrect, and even when you ask to speak with a manager, nothing happens. To make things worse, I called twice and was treated horribly by a rude and unhelpful outsourced call center. They were unable to resolve anything and only added to my frustration. It’s also painfully obvious that many of the glowing reviews are fake. Please, save yourself the hassle and go with a more reputable provider. The fact they have responded to this review quicker than actually contacting me and resolving this issue is great evidence that they have broken customer service

Finio Loans is very good, support too.The money is released immediately after the contract is signed. If you have problems with the payment, they will always understand and help you. I didn't understand some points of the contract and had to file a complaint, but Donna (Finio Loans) helped me and solved the problem immediately.Thank you, Donna!!!

Had a loan went for top up to be told,didnt meet criteria ,must have had criteria when they gave me it,and they keep sending emails saying you can top up as your a valuable customer ,really bit silly when ive still got 3 payments left lol

I don’t think online automatic service access your information as it should. I know my score is not the greatest but it’s definitely not the worst. You should not advertise that you help people with poor credit score because that is not the true
