We are thoroughly pleased with the installation of french doors and the replacement of some condensed panes. Robert was extremely professional and very courteous. He was easy to interact with and a good ambassador for EYG. I would have no hesitation in recommending him as a high quality tradesperson.

Replaced my old wooden falling apart conservatory with a spanking new EYG build, base and glass conservatory. They turned up when they said would, and were solid working guys that know their stuff. They were a pleasure to do business with. No hard sell or 'I will ring the boss to see if i can get you a special discount' nonsense. Really pleased with the result.

We are happy with the product however, we were not happy with the time it took to resolve issues with the sliding doors (over 6 months).

Having had many dealings with companies providing similar services over the years, I can honestly say that EYG have been the most professional and personable yet. All of their employees conduct work to the highest standards and take great pride in doing so. They are a delight to something that can often be a worrying time and better yet, they clean up after themselves (daily!,!). This project was not without some hiccups but these were predominantly COVID related and were dealt with as efficiently and effectively as could be. I would recommend EYG in a heartbeat and we will be using them for other projects in future.

Had a call from the company after enquiring for a quote for some new windows - when I got the call back I was told that they wouldn’t come out for a quote unless my “partner” was home! When I asked why would my partner (for all they know I might not have had one) need to be present, I was met with that is “how they work”. And that they would have to come in the evening when my partner was home! I am female and quite capable of deciding on what windows I want in my home. This is incredibly backwards for a company. I recommend they contact the 21st century on how to behave. Please AVOID as they obviously cannot communicate with women/anyone who doesn’t have a “partner” at home to check they know what windows they want!

Installation team were great and on time and efficient. Follow up call received but when I said the door wasn’t quite shutting flush I was expected to call in to the office to resolve myself…. I thought that was the point of the follow up call to make sure everything was ok and if not resolve? He then persisted to try and sell me an appointment to have my windows changed. Initial sales personnel was very good and professional, i think it was James.

Professional, courteous and friendly. And a great looking roof too. Thank you all.

Excellent communication prior to the work and a really hard- working team. We had soffits, fascia boards and guttering fitted and they look great. There was a follow-up call to ensure we were satisfied with the work which I appreciated. Highly recommend this company.

I understand Covid-19 circumstances but EYG has poor communication between the team and to the customer as well. It takes ages for job to finished. I have to chased after the team for exact date that they are coming back to continue their job. Job has not been done properly with some messes for the follow up team to clean up.

Great job from start to finish, lads that came were very good at what they did . One happy customer.

The back door fitted is still hard to lock

Installation delayed by a month, but what can you expect with what's going on everywhere, the van turned up @ 08.00hrs on the rearranged date, Paul & Andy were very professional, polite and hard working, and did an excellent job of fitting the windows we had ordered, product looks brilliant, and no mess, would definitely recommend,

I ordered a front door and had a date that it would be fitted this was changed three times so I asked for my money back the manager from Scarborough was not happy at all about this And told me I’d still have to pay for the door in the end I got my money back couple of days later two guys turned up and has asked me how my door was I told him he’d been cancelled but they hadn’t been informed seems like no communication there now I’ve just had an email to ask me How impressed I was with the product I had received from them still no communication bit of a cowboy company if you ask me would not recommend again doubt if this will be published

I have used EYG before and they were perfect - 5*, so I had no hesitation using them again. The sale process was excellent (Thanks Fraser), pricing good and the windows just what we wanted. The installation date was a fixed deadline based on moving house (We had agreed to replace 6 windows for the buyers), and this is when the problems started. No show on date 1, no show and no call to inform me date 2. Date 3 was past our move date so I had to escalate to finally get an acceptable date and the windows were eventually fitted, only 3 days before we moved. Unfortunately, the fitter had an off day and 4 of the 6 windows were cracked on installation... and one was made the wrong size. I had to leave it with the buyer of the house but there was a long delay getting the replacements, and when they did arrive, they had to cancel the agreed install date.... One thing I will say was that the installation of the window frames was perfect and we needed no decoration after. I also know EYG make great windows but on this occasion, the whole installation process was a shambles and very stressful. Just hope this was a one off for me or they get it sorted
