I can't believe all the negative experiences people have had with this company. I thought my situation was a one-off. When I arrived at the branch to collect the car, I was told the type of vehicle I selected was not available, the only one available was a fiat 500. I am quite tall person 5'8 so this car was really uncomfortable, nevertheless I accepted as it was only for 2 days, and my next rental was with enterprise (who are so much better, it's like night and day). I can only thank God that I actually took photos of the entire vehicle, before taking it out, honestly, never forget to inspect the vehicle before driving off with it. There was one of their employees staring me down while I was doing this (he looked so annoyed) so I called him over and asked why the tyres had no dust caps, plus I mentioned the same scratches and scruffs the woman who gave me the keys had mentioned. He literally said "don't worry we don't consider those." Upon returning the vehicle, I handed over the keys and they did not inspect the car while I was there, I was told my deposit would be in my account after the woman inspects the vehicle (the same guy I saw when I was taking the pictures and the same woman who gave me the keys we're chatting really in deep conversations) so she was saying I can leave. So I left, the money was returned into my debit card, as I didn't use a credit card, I received a statement of return few days later, and the said I tore/ ripped the two front tyres, funny that because I had the exact same pictures of these "tears/ ripped" tyres from that moment I took the pictures before leaving with the vehicle. A few days later I received another email on Christmas Eve of damage notification of the exact same tyres I photographed. This is by far the least worst experience I've actually read on here. I don't understand why they would release my deposit if they believed I damaged the tyres. There is no way they can charge my bank and just in case they do I've already reported the account I used as stolen/ blocked.
