I had a difficult transaction and ran into challenges at every step but I was so impressed with Matt who helped me get to where I needed to be with a successful outcome.
They were doing a really great job on first few orders and thought I found a good crowd, but latest order is just sitting there after days. Had an email from support asking for more info for the order which I provided quickly, but I now get no response from emails to their help@ email address. A bit disappinting now,.might have to look elsewhere if I don't get a response soon.
I've been using EC for years, almost on a daily basis. They were fast, orders were completed within a few minutes, they were efficient and if I needed to get in touch with them about an order they responded in a timely manner and were always helpful. On Friday the 11th of July 2025 I made a LTC purchase at 6:47pm and as per usual expected to receive it within minutes, I checked the status and it was saying "In Progress" then time went on and nothing, an hour went by so I contacted them however didn't get a response until early hours the next morning saying my order had been flagged, asked me what the purchase was for, where I was sending it to, if I had been dealing with Brokers or Investors and WhatsApp. This had never happened, so I told them what is was for and still haven't had a response, its now Monday the 14th of July 2025 status is still saying In Progress, still no response from them. I emailed the help team, then emailed the complaints team asking to cancel my order and refund my money as it wasn't worth the hassel and still haven't had a response, no update, no apology, nothing. This is beyond rediculous and I will no longer be using EC, they are no longer NZs only crypto exchange, and I have gone to PIN (pay it now network) so if you're unsure about EC go check out PIN Network.

I placed a sell order with Easy Crypto (Order QRXJV4) and sent the funds, but never received the money. I reached out multiple times for support, only to be met with automated bot replies. Instead of real help, I was sent an abrupt email saying my account was being closed for "breaching terms of service" with no explanation at all. They even removed my sell order from my account history, leaving me in the dark. Absolutely no transparency, no accountability, and no proper communication. I still don't know if I'll get my money. I would strongly advise others to think twice before using this platform.
Easy crypto really lives up to its name, ive used multiple exchanges before coming accross them, ive used binance, nexo, crypto.com, kucoin, coin base and none of them are as easy quick and low fee as easy crypto. Awesome stuff easy crypro, just one con they dont support WBTC (wrapped bitcoin) at this time of review.
I did 3 previous transactions with difficulty, however thought it was the normal process, however as soon as I recommended the platform the next person waited more than 24 hours for a small insignificant deposit without any assistant or positive contact from EC. I am highly disappointed seeing that we wanted to use a local company. You honestly make NZ look bad!
I sent a very small amount of Crypto overseas ($200 USD) to an address I was given. I have known the gentleman in question for a few years now. Well apparently the address was questioned by Easy Crypto and because of that I have been banned from their site. I have asked for a review of my case but that has been denied. They acknowledge that I'm the innocent party in all of this yet despite it they want nothing to do with me.

I wanted to purchase $9200 usdt, I paid the $15600 nzd fee on the easy crypto account to account deposit platform on their exchange at 3pm 4-6-2025. After 5 minutes, no money had arrived, an hour passed, nothing. I called them, no answer. After nearly 3 hours or 6pm I was in a complete state of panic, convinced I had just lost a lot of money, I received an email saying they did not process the transaction as they presumed I was caught in a scam? The message read "we will refund your money in the next 3 to 5 days". After a few days the $15600 NZD appeared in my bank account. I went to Binance to try the same transaction, only to find the staff at easy crypto had manipulated the software which has disabled my card's capacity to buy crypto. To this day I am unable to invest in cryptocurrency as I'm unable to exchange fiat for usdt. The messages all came from Cahan at easy crypto, who in hindsight withheld my funds while he was disabling my card's crypto exchange function. Cahan and his people at easy crypto do whatever they want without consideration for consumer rights, oblivious to their fair trade obligations as a small business in New Zealand. If they take issue with a transaction they are required to refund immediately without withholding funds. If like me you have fallen victim to their very unusual-harmful business practices, tell the online banking ombudsman, tell trust pilot, tell the online commerce commission, request a hearing with the disputes tribunal for financial compensation if they have caused you financial loss as they did to myself. If they receive enough complaints along the same thread (extraordinary business practices) the banking ombudsman and commerce commission will act accordingly to remedy the problem legally, with guidance within the fair trading act. I was a first time user, unaware of the sort of people-practices at easy crypto. They did not know me, or anything about my crypto investment, they don't call or answer your phone call after your money vanishes without a trace. You are left to panic and stress the afternoon away.

Avoid Easy Crypto at all costs. I purchased USDT through EC. First they gave me the third degree about what I wanted to do with my money. Then they made a false assumption about my financial affairs and told me they would refund my money. They held my funds for a week, and when the refund came through, it was short by several hundred dollars. Their excuse: the market charges fees when converting back to NZD. So, in short, I gave them money, they ripped me off, and I still don't have any crypto. And I'm not the only one. They've done the same to several personal friends. They say they're protecting you from scammers, but they're the ones scamming you.
