I purchased a set of Kohler pistons and rings from DIY spare parts, once I received the parts and tested the fits I noticed what I thought was a problem with the dimensions of the piston rings. I contacted DIY spare parts and was put into contact with Colin who was extremely understanding of the issue I had and very willing to help get to the bottom of the problem. Quite a bit of time went by with Colin having to go back and forth to Kohler for all relevant information and constantly pushing to get my problem solved. Long story short the dimensions were correct but without the help and support I received from Colin (and possibly others in the team) I would have been completely stuck and wouldn't have got the engine rebuilt for my customer. My experience with DIY spare parts was over and above what I expected, I would highly recommend them for the fair pricing, excellent customer support, excellent ability and willingness to be able to help with problems and to follow the process of buying parts right through to ensuring the customer is extremely happy with the service they have received. Excellent website with comprehensive engine data. Much more importantly, support identifying parts is first class, very knowledgeable and helpful.

My 20 year old Stiga mower had badly damaged blades and could find no parts in the US. With a broader search, I found DIY Spare Parts in the UK. They did a fantastic job of tracking down blades, not just exactly the correct part but even upgraded with replaceable tips. Jon even contacted Stiga in Sweden and was able to confirm correct fit. Over the top!!

The website gives no indication whether parts are in stock or not. And if they're not, as in my case, your order just disappears into a black hole with no communications or updates. Really disappointing. Every other website I've found that sells these sorts of spare parts tells you whether it's actually in stock or not. So you've been warned - don't assume that what you want is in stock when you order it.

Superb service. I sent a message asking about availability of a front axle for my Mountfield lawn tractor. I got a reply later that day advising me that the axle wasn't in stock but one was available in Belgium, it would be with me in approximately 7 days and at no extra cost. 7 days later my axle was delivered. Many thanks to Andy and Jon who were extremely courteous and helpful. I would have no hesitation in purchasing from them again

Stihl FS85 strimmer needed fixing. Initially, I ordered the wrong part. DIY Spare Parts accepted a return for credit without demur. I then sought help: Michael & Jon both helpful with their advice, pointing me in the right direction and suggesting the part I actually needed to get the job done. Good price, prompt delivery. A very satisfactory outcome after my initial mistake.

ordered my parts almost two weeks ago and nothing so far, said i would recieve e mail indicating parts had been dispatched but nothing at all. poor service when needing vital machinery fixed at busiest time of year.and monies already taken.

It was a good buying experience, all the exploded views with all the parts... easy to order... after that... Lots of time to send the parts and only after contact the support they have said there were some stock problems and they were waiting for the parts. After reception... they sent one part wrong... i controlled my order... they have sent the wrong part. Contact... waited for days... new ticket... and then, "there was a mistake... ble bla bla... we will send you the correct one..." two months have passed, no part.... and my current ticket is waiting for 5 days right now. So... i would give less stars if i could.

Ordered a part. Chased once and told it would be with me next week. Chased again and told unable to supply. Bought elsewhere without any hassle or delay. Won't be using this supplier again.

Brilliant company.! Looking for parts for my mower which is now 20 years old. Easy to use website for finding parts and at half the price of a well known big company.? And you can store your machines in your shed so it’s easier to find the next time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Needing mainly bearing and circlip parts for my 7 yo Hayter mower I searched Google and found very little availability, most parts seemed unavailable, which is ridiculous for only a 7 year old machine. Then found DIY Spare Parts who listed everything I needed and more. Being suspicious that this company could supply what most websites could not I rang them and spoke to Jon. They didn't stock the parts but they would call Hayter and see if my parts could be supplied. Only a few minutes later Jon rang back to say that they could, and I had them only a week later. Even Hayter's website didn't list my parts. So well done Jon and DIY Spare Parts. My mower is back on its wheels. Excellent service.
