Dixons - Erdington Branch - my brother and I sold our late parents property through Dixons Erdington. Charlotte Rose is a magician! Charlotte was superb from the outset with open and honest discussions about the property and excellent advice to sell the property via the Modern Auction Method. Charlotte had developers/buyers on her books who didn’t waste time. They visited the house and confirmed the same afternoon that they wanted to buy the house. A stress-free sale with no fuss and no mess. Also, Charlotte was very supportive, caring and assisted with arranging ID checks and documentation for my brother. Charlotte, again, turned into a magician by having a stunning flat on her books which was perfect for my brother and she negotiated a great price. The whole team at the Erdington Branch were approachable as well as completely professional - I would totally 100% recommend the team in Erdington. Thanks so much.
1. they over value the properties. not informing ppl that the current interest rates are sky high so better to be realistic ! selling properties in yardley at 500k - solihull prices in my opinion 2, you can never get through. once they have your property on sale people cant get through to book a viewing, they then cant get through to put in an offer, voice messages left, and no body responds . unprofessional - STAY CLEAR
I am totally disappointed with dixons service i spose to move in property on 1st of april and they start the contract on 17 of april when i moved in the property there was leaking water from walls and they fix that in a week time and i have to call them everyday to please solve this problem there is no water in the property After that when i check the boiler there is no hot water I report that last monday 29th of april still waiting nothing happen I have 3 kids my kids got flu cough and my youngest one is 10 months old he is not feeling well I call them everyday and tell them please i have kids and their reply is waiting for the answer of landlord I am totally disappointed with this service I will never take any property from dixons and will never recommend to any one Totally disappointed with dixons and landlord behavior Before i moved to the property i asked the agent is there any other problems in the property and she said everything is working fine No customer service no response immediately waste of time
Terrible service from Yardley Dixons rent team. They refused my GasSafe certificate for no reason. Gas Safe themselves said it was a totally a valid legal certificate but Dixons refused it. Off to Burchell Edwards for better service.
We instructed Dixons in November last year, and have just taken our house off the market with them. Although the team are lovely and approachable, they failed to get us many viewings or offers, and always wanted us to reduce our price as a marketing tool. There was very little contact with them, unless they were booking a viewing in, no updates or marketing reports, unless requested, despite all the initial promises. Feeling very dissapointed and dissalusioned after this experience.
I was Viewed a property by Miss Amelia Hamilton , it was for a studio .. from the first instant she was very polite and approachable. Very informative about the property . helped me in answering all the question i had about the property.
Highly recommend Dixons estate agents to anyone! Especially first time renters/buyers! Me and my partner was looking at renting our first home together, we was so uneducated and didn’t know what to expect but Dixons was a godsend! I had my eye on a house in my childhood neighbourhood so I applied, not thinking that we’d actually get the house but we did! We had 2 lovely lady’s helping us called Megan and holly and they both was amazing!! Megan showed us around the house and answered all questions for us, and holly was brilliant especially over the phone! I dread to think how many times I kept calling but holly always answered politely and answered all my questions. Definitely felt so comfortable with Dixons! Highly recommend!
After falling on tough times and having to sell our family home and to buy a new house of my own everyone at castle Bromwich estate agents were amazing and done all they could to help me with making the situation a lot easier, with a couple houses falling through Ellie, della, Luan and Vijay helped me find a new house and was so helping and professional through it all I couldn’t thank these guys enough for what they had done for me on selling and finding a new property, I’m looking forward to starting my new chapter with my young family again guys thank you isn’t enough, you are worth you weight in gold as employees.

Absolutely pathetic service. Rang and left several messages without any response . They haven’t got the basic levels of customer service to even pick up the phone. If that’s their ethos then stay away from them .

I asked them to communicate by text or phone, so they did instead of emails,which for me are bit difficult.Thanks to ALL .

I let out my flat with Dixons in December 2022 as I was not able to get a new tenant myself. They were initially responsive to get my business, and did get a tenant into the property. After that things immediately went downhill. I signed up for the 'fully managed' property management service at Dixons in Selly Oak. I had some minor repairs reported by a tenant (hole in wall needed plastering, bath sealant replacing and some rust on bathroom mirror). I advised the work be done by a contractor and Dixons came back quoting £800! Unable to go through with such a ridiculous quote, I did the work myself costing £30 and 1 hour of my time. I was amazed that Dixons did not check the quote at all, and did not visit the property. They then double-charged me the tenant sign-on fees (the first tenant they found did not even stay a month) but did not tell me they were charging twice, I had to tell them and then chase and nag for my refund for 3 months. It also took over 1 month of chasing just to have them send me the tenancy agreement and relevant paperwork. At this point I stopped seeing any value in the service - it was much easier when I managed the property myself, Dixons just made things much harder and more expensive. Please do not sign up to this service expecting your property management to be easier or cheaper. My experience with Dixons has transformed my view on property management and I regret signing up to this. I have had to physically go the the branch to get them to do anything. UPDATE Dec 2023 - The nightmare continues. I've been trying to retrieve the deposit back from Dixons but the senior branch manager has no clue how this works and even told me to protect the deposit that I am not holding! After over 2 months of chasing, and over 50 emails, and several phone calls, I finally got the tenant their deposit back. It's absolutely laughable that I got Dixons involved to make property management easier - it has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had being a landlord. I'm glad I got out when I did or it would have been a financial disaster too.

They are a lovely team and managed to sell my house when I have previously been on with 2 other agents, very proactive and kept me informed at all times; BRILLIANT!! would highly recommend.
