Bethan Pike was our property manager…

Bethan Pike was our property manager and has probably been the most caring and attentive person we've had manage our tenancy. When we ever had issues with the property, she was always responsive and helpful and also managed the end of our tenancy/deposit very well, handling a dispute with our landlord. We've had horrendous experiences with estate agents and private landlords in the past so it's a breath of fresh air to know there are great people out there.

Excellent friendly service

The agent will ask you for bank account details

The agent will ask you for private information and also your bank account details including your CVV. If you don't give it to them, they won't present your offer to the landlord. They will run the auction and let you bid. Since they have taken your bank account to make the offer, if they don't reject you, or let you know you are rejected, you cannot be sure if landlord will later accept your offer or not, so you lose your time to look for other flats in the markets, and have to join the bid and make them happy. It is really annoying. Full of skills to squeeze your pocket, without any care and sincere attitude in the business.

Yearly inspection.

I was visited by Donalina Gargrupe for my yearly inspection. I found her professional and friendly and she took note of some small outstanding issues. She gave me an update two days later and assured me that everything is being dealt with. I’m very impressed by her promptness and for keeping me abreast of the small repairs that need to be done. An excellent agent.

Pressure you for SECURITY details over the phone!

We got all the way to securing an accepted offer on an apartment in north London, and then asked me to provide my SECURITY no. over the phone, with account details. I requested any other secure payment link or we can’t progress, and the lady (quite obnoxiously) said “this is how the process is” - it’s normal. Been renting for over half a decade in London - definitely not normal. Guys, please don’t give security details over the phone.

2nd Rental by Dexters.

This is the 2nd rental for our Apartment with Dexters. I have found them to be very professional and responsive to any queries. Our Manager, Connor Rowan, is excellent and its good to know that they deal with any issues promptly, which is important when you are not local and gives peace of mind. All in all, I would recommend Dexters as a Managing Agent.

Prompt, accurate communication.

We have been using Dexters to manage our rental property since 2013. We are very happy with the prompt and accurate communication we get from our property manager, Marco Correia, when there is anything that requires our attention such as a recent issue with failing water pumps which have now been replaced.
