Bethan Pike was our property manager and has probably been the most caring and attentive person we've had manage our tenancy. When we ever had issues with the property, she was always responsive and helpful and also managed the end of our tenancy/deposit very well, handling a dispute with our landlord. We've had horrendous experiences with estate agents and private landlords in the past so it's a breath of fresh air to know there are great people out there.
Lottie at Dexters in Surbiton was on the ball, and always called me back if I left a message. She is very helpful and keen, and a great asset to Dexters. I would recommend using Lottie for your next house sale.

"I had a profoundly disappointing experience with Dexter Lettings Agency in Clapham South. From the outset, the service was lacking in professionalism and transparency. My initial inquiries were met with delayed responses, and when I finally managed to speak to someone, the information provided was often unclear or incomplete.
The problems only escalated once I signed the lease. The property was not in the condition promised; there were several maintenance issues that were either ignored or inadequately addressed. Despite numerous attempts to contact the agency for repairs, I received little to no follow-up. The lack of urgency and responsiveness was frustrating and unprofessional.
The final blow was the handling of the move-out process. I was charged excessive fees for minor damages that were either pre-existing or were the result of normal wear and tear. The communication during this process was particularly poor; I had difficulty reaching anyone who could provide a satisfactory explanation or resolution.
Overall, my experience with Dexter Lettings was marked by poor customer service, lack of accountability, and hidden fees. I would strongly advise prospective tenants to look elsewhere for a more reliable and customer-oriented letting agency. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I cannot recommend Dexter Lettings based on their service."
Before Daniel F joined the team I struggled a bit with Dexters (hence the 3 stars). Often things would not be done, people wouldn't log when there had been a visit to my flat so more would be booked in and there were lack of updates at times which felt frustrating. However after dealing with Daniel F it feels like things are changing for the better and if I had always dealt with Daniel I would prob give Dexters a 5 star rating. Great customer service, always keeps me informed and gets things moving which I really appreciate!
Working with Jamilah is an absolute dream. If I email, she replies, if I call she responds. Any questions or queries I have are solved. During any works on my property she would update me every step of the way. Very polite and so helpful.
A shout out to Cameron in lettings as well, he is great!

as our flat management agency, Dexters has looked after us really well, we have had a big issue with rodents in the house, and in the area, they have been tackled it fast and eficiently, we had to trust on them beacuse we were on holiday and when we came back all was done, or in the good path to be sorted, expecial thanks to Grace who was our advisor and keep up the good work. really really thankfull, big peace of mind after all. we were really worried to see what could we find in our return but i know now i can rely on Dexters and they will do the neccesary things to solve the problems.
Dexters Property Management Team responded swiftly to my early Monday morning call for an emergency plumber to attend to a stubborn blockage in the kitchen sink. And lo and behold, a chap appeared on our doorstep within the hour. He dealt with the issue with courtesy and efficiency. Brilliant.
There again, it's what we've come to expect during the 10 years we've been at the Dexters-managed property.
Beyond excellent service.
We rented a property with Dexters a month ago. The process was very smooth and quick. We’ve now settled in and Dominic Glover has been very helpful in resolving all the issues faced when first moving in. Dominic is extremely proactive and a great problem solver. We hope this level of support remains for the full length of our contract, but from what we’ve seen so far, we are very satisfied. Thanks so much Dominic!

Our experience with Dexters has been exceptional. We've been with them for eight months, and they have consistently been responsive and helpful. From the beginning, Monika has been incredibly supportive, efficiently managing communication between us and the landlord and promptly addressing any issues. Her dedication and professionalism have made our experience with Dexters genuinely outstanding.
Been with Dexters since October 2023. We were shown our current property and also have had the property managed by Dominic Glover who has been superb during our entire time renting.
Whenever we have had a issue or a question they have been prompt to reply and ensure its resolved. They leave us alone when things are going right and are helpful when needed.
