Bethan Pike was our property manager and has probably been the most caring and attentive person we've had manage our tenancy. When we ever had issues with the property, she was always responsive and helpful and also managed the end of our tenancy/deposit very well, handling a dispute with our landlord. We've had horrendous experiences with estate agents and private landlords in the past so it's a breath of fresh air to know there are great people out there.
Lottie at Dexters in Surbiton was on the ball, and always called me back if I left a message. She is very helpful and keen, and a great asset to Dexters. I would recommend using Lottie for your next house sale.

I was looking for a flat to rent through Dexter. Even the agent has already got my account number for holding deposit and asked me to fill out an application, they still arrange viewings and turn the offer into a game of blind bidding. Unless you have endless time and unlimited budget, property search with Dexter is a waste if time.
Everyone knows how hard it can be to deal with all problems and issues coming up here and there in our homes, but it makes a big difference when you have right people working in agencies. I just want to say the big big thank you to Dexters and especially property manager Carl. He’s always very supportive, responsive and ready to help. I’m having such smooth and great experience. I highly appreciate everything he’s done for me and just made my life easier. Thank you very much Carl and thank you Dexters for hiring such great professionals!
I have used this estate agent for letting my property for nearly 4 years. For the first three years, I couldn’t fault them, but the staff have Changed hands and I would not recommend them. The majority of staff are incompetent they make so many mistakes and their Fees are high. I did complain to the director and it was a waste of my time. My last tenancy agreement they failed to put in a break clause and I’m now unable to break free of them unless I give them vast amounts of money. Although I have to ride this out, I will not be using them again in the future. I do not recommend them.

I've lived in London for 9 years, and since renting from different agencies, it's been a mixed bag. Dexters has been without a doubt the best by far when it comes to their property management team (SE London team). Myra originally secured the property for us, and throughout our 3 years she was an absolute angel, addressing property maintenance issues quickly whilst communicating perfectly, always on the other end of the phone. I was introduced during our final year to Nikki and Mary-Ann, and the level of care and attention they gave our end of tenancy was second to none. Having worked in lettings myself, I would've killed to have a team like this. Immensely personable, always willing to meet in the middle and always on the other end of the phone. As a tenant, having people of this calibre supporting you is crucial in a city where agents are often careless. Dexters have managed to bring the mindset, care and attention of a small, local agency to a large company. Hats off to them!
