Bethan Pike was our property manager…

Bethan Pike was our property manager and has probably been the most caring and attentive person we've had manage our tenancy. When we ever had issues with the property, she was always responsive and helpful and also managed the end of our tenancy/deposit very well, handling a dispute with our landlord. We've had horrendous experiences with estate agents and private landlords in the past so it's a breath of fresh air to know there are great people out there.

Brilliant company, and lovely people!

I’ve been using Dexters for years now, both to rent out my flat, and to buy my new home. The staff are always super helpful, charming, and responsive. Biggest shoutout to Petros Giorganios, who has been absolutely brilliant this tenancy with getting any repairs or issues sorted straight away, making sure my tenants are happy and safe in their home, and giving me peace of mind that the company is looking after both my flat and the people living there.

Dexters are devoid of humanity

Dexters are devoid of humanity. Our building has the same cladding problems as so many others in London and they have avoided and delayed responding to the council's demands that it be fixed. I thought they didn't care about us based on how incompetent and disinterested they were once we'd signed the contract, but it's quite astonishing that they couldn't care less about human life. I have no doubt that they pay people to remove negative reviews, because they are one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with.

DON'T RENT FROM DEXTERS!YOUR DEPOSIT IS THEIR WAGE

DON'T RENT FROM DEXTERS. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!! Retrieval of our deposit from Dexters property managers is a nightmare. They treat your deposit as their WAGE, consistently attempting to create made up charges. * Checkout Chaos: We demanded to be present during the checkout inspection, but they refused to accommodate our schedule. This resulted in a report filled with inaccuracies. Which we disagreed. * Disregard for Improvements: We invested time and money in improving the property (e.g., £900 in upgrades, new furniture, upgraded fixtures). Despite this, Dexters intends to charge us for "restoring" the property to its original, inferior condition. * The irony is they eventually dropped the cleaning fee and other unjustified charges, quoting £40. APPARENTLY, THIS WAS THE ACTUAL INTERNAL COST LEAKED TO US. Two weeks later, ANOTHER AGENT returned with a radiculous and inflated quote of £600! she intend to place a £450 curtain on a window with mold! We contacted the landlord, finding he was unaware of this outrageous charges! no wonder why they want tenants never get in contact with landlord. We consistently said we raise a dispute through TDS if we don't reach an agreement, but this opportunistic behavior continues.

Great renting experience

We have been renting our London house for 3 years. During this time the Dexter's staff including Printhi, Paris, Simon have been fantastic. The tenant reports are detailed, they are quick at sending people over when needed etc. As non resident landlords having reliable agents is particularly important and Dexter's gave us peace of mind. We have been particularly grateful for their advice and patience whilst we figured out best ways forward and when going through the TDS process.

Fantastic Support from Chelsea Odunlami

I recently had an issue with my hot water and want to thank Chelsea Odunlami from Canary Wharf Property Management for her amazing support. She was quick to respond, immediately called Joe who was with the plumbing team, and ensured he got to the bottom of the issue without delay. What stood out most was Chelsea’s commitment to staying in touch. She promised to keep me updated throughout the process, including following up until the necessary part is ordered and the issue is fully resolved. Her professionalism and proactive approach were truly appreciated and made the whole experience much less stressful.
