The Exchange is a great tool. To be honest, it has declined a little over the years in my opinion, but it is still a fantastic asset to any courier or haulage business. It helps us cover work when we are stuck and obtain re-loads for our own returning vehicles.
I want to sincerely thank Joshua for the support he provided during my onboarding in the CX team. His guidance was clear, patient, and thorough, which made the transition much smoother and less overwhelming. He took the time to walk me through key processes, answered all my questions, and shared practical insights that helped me get up to speed quickly. great tool to use alongside our existing customers. We mainly use the CX to get backloads for our own vehicles. We have also been able to grow our business by having the extra contacts to cover work our vans simply haven't got time to do. We have had a few problems with some drivers on there along the way but now try and use the same companies / drivers to cover our work where possible.
A good network to expand your contact list and cover work. Could have a more efficient way to chase outstanding money for tricky users.
Ace Couriers have been using Courier Exchange for many years and are very happy with it.
As a first year driver on cx I would say the mobile app is good.in the Info on jobs would be better ie. Hospitals ,airports. Online app is better with more info but could be more. Customer service is ok but I'm happy at the moment the way thinks are going
Really good platform. Easy to use. Would be helpful if all jobs had to state load weight, max length, max height (if applicable)and handballing (if required), as this would affect the quote. Could do with extra staff as when I have tried to contact CX, there has been a long wait on hold, or someone takes my number and is supposed to call me back within 4 hours (unfortunately I have not received a call back on more than one occasion). Some companies request you to upload the invoice via their own portal, which is great, but then also request the paperwork to be sent via post which means you are then doing twice as much admin as necessary; would be more helpful if all CX companies took the electronic POD as correct and only requested the paper copy if there was a dispute/discrepancy, and also took invoices via email. This has a direct cost to the couriers.
