COSMO, Edinburgh Scotland was truly the #1 buffet restaurant at Edinburgh. Due to the experience we had -staff service (Mendie) with a smile & friendly very accomodating -place was maintained clean from the dining area, rest room -food quality was great, tasteful and well top up. -pricing was reasonable

Cosmo Liverpool has now become my go to place when I’m in town. The manager is an absolute sweetheart of a man and their staff are really pleasant and welcoming. The food hasn’t disappointed me once either. The place is well maintained and clean. No complaints from me at all.

When we arrived, there was a wait time of around 15 minutes, we sat in the waiting area and all of the tables were sticky. We were then seated at a table in the middle of the walk way, it was an unpleasant place to sit and not ideal due to the volume of people constantly walking right next to you. We went and got our meals, there was not much variety. As we were eating we where asked to pay for the meal, this should have been asked before or after the meal not during, we where very dissatisfied by this and this has never been the case in any other restaurant. Staff were rude and too busy talking between eachother instead of serving us . They only had diet pepsi and the ice machine wasn’t working. We paid £47 for the meal in total, not even including the drinks. The food was tasteless, stale and simply horrible. We both ate a small plate of food, it was so disgusting, we didn’t even finish it, a huge scam not worth the money.

Started off quite positive... Staff were accommodating as it was a very busy evening. Drinks were served relatively quickly. Food options seemed good for meat eaters, but very few choices for non meat-eaters. Tried the fish in lemon but texture and flavour was poor. The food wasn't very warm at times unless a fresh batch had been served. I'd like to suggest that the tongs used to pick up desserts should be cleaned regularly - they were caked in cream/sponge etc and were not used for their purpose (i.e. used to pick up any dessert) so may not be helpful for people with allergies. Finally, paying - the cashier promptly served the gentleman before me, however it felt like she saw me, then decided to have a conversation with her colleague for a good 10 minutes whilst I stood waiting to pay with payment card in my hand. The conversation, from what I could gather wasn't necessarily about work. I left and went to another cashier who directed me to where I had left. It wasn't until I had to ask them - loudly, if I could pay, before they finally switched into action. I felt like I had been ignored on purpose. RUDE.

First time visiting cosmo's absolutely amazing food plenty to choose from all fresh and hot full of flavour the deserts were amazing also only gripe was they run out of creme brulee really early on in the evening bit disappointing the staff were amazing smiling and very friendly couldn't do enough for you definitely recommend eating here fantastic

We have visited Cosmo in Belfast, Victoria Square, twice now, 3pm and 7pm, weekend and midweek. The service was excellent, we were told we had to wait ten minutes, but barely waited 2 to 5 minutes. I was struck by how busy the staff were but when you asked them a question they were very friendly and professional. The range of food is considerable and would cater to most tastes, go on a very empty stomach, you will want to try many different dishes, the food, overall was as good, maybe a bit better than many more expensive restaurant; although the drinks are expensive, and many of the desserts are less than flavoursome, avoid anything in a pot. Don't forget to try the sauces, and anything you don't know what it is! if you don't like it, you don't have to finish it!! Our plates were cleared away promptly, and although there were a lot of people, it was never overly packed. Will be going back again and again.

Good food plenty of choice and friendly staff

Booked for 6pm Cosmo Norwich. We had to complain we had waited 20mins to be allowed upstairs to the restaurant, when other people after us were allowed upstairs. The restaurant has had a makeover, and the food was really nice, better than we have had in the past. We were seated next to the door to the kitchen and the noise from the servers throwing dishes around the kitchen was unbelievably noisy. You literally could not hear your partner speaking through the noise. Staff would stand with the only day open and chat to staff making the noise levels worse. The table next to us joined in the conversation with a manager we found, as they were angry at the level of noise also. The manager only made excuses about the noise and suggested we moved. She did not grasp how loud the noise from the kitchen was. We left as soon as we could after eating.

I'm happy spending my birthday here and there's just plenty of food varieties you can enjoy. Thank you to Kuya Ricky for accomodating me and my partner. His service was above and beyond!

Both myself and my Wife visited Cosmo World Buffet in Liverpool yesterday evening , we weren't impressed at all , an awful lot of the dishes were empty and were not being topped up and this was at 7pm - only halfway through the evening service., we stopped an hour and most of these dishes were still empty an hour later.Also we sat there for the full hour and wasn't offered one drink by the waiters/waitresses, even though they were freely stood around talking to each other.Our first and last visit to Cosmo unfortunately.

No choice for gluten free Spoke with waiter gave me a list of mostly veg Then asked waiter Offerred mash veg then salad Great choice NOT We lasted 5 mins then walked out Cosmo Edinburgh

Doncaster Cosmo - Really good value, the only problems we had was waiting for the food dishes to be replenished and a common complaint which happens everytime... having to ask for plates because the containers were empty.

One of the Teppanyaki chefs in Cosmo Reading is very rude. I won’t go there any more.

Time waiting to be served,the variety of food is outstanding Cosmo from OXFORD ok ,all kind of food from asian,meat kebab and variety pf idshes and all kind of vegatarin ,lot of cake s,it has become a bit pricey but when you look money value service ,and qaulity it cost over 26 quid a menu depend of preferences and taste of customers

I had loyalty card which was nearly full & today the manager took the card off me & said we do not use them anymore , yet they are still advertising the on there website . EDINBURGH Cosmo

First of all customers service was disgusting,treated us like we was homeless :DD omg disgusting ,check cctv table 20 31 th of January around 8.30 They closed everything no drinks no food ,disgusting I want my money back !!!I don’t pay for frozen sausages and fish fingers for 22 pounds each disgusting guys ,staff very rude check cameras please

Looking at all the reviews you should have all gone to the Derby Cosmo!!! Couldn't have asked for better service. The food was delicious and the staff were excellent. We had a great evening. It was my daughters birthday yesterday and the staff came over with cake and sang to her. She would normally be embarrassed but she said it was lovely. Thank you 😊

The overall ambience and food was exceptional. Ranjita was exceptional with the service too, would definitely come back.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Cosmo, a place I’ve frequented for years, but this visit was deeply disappointing. From the start, the service was rude and unwelcoming. A staff member aggressively demanded upfront payment, shoving the card machine at me, despite half my party not even arriving yet. Later, a missing drink order was met with more hostility. To top it off, although they stored our cake, the staff's inhospitable attitude made us feel so unwelcome that we decided to leave with it rather than celebrate there. They even brought out someone else’s cake by mistake. Overall, a frustrating and disheartening experience.
