I ordered from Construction Gear because the work boots I wanted were in stocks according to the website. I got a notice the next day saying that my order would ship soon. When I got no tracking information, I attempted to contact Customer Service with no luck. I was told that my order was being sent from a third party and that they would give me tracking information as soon as it was available. It took more than 4 weeks to receive any information. I'm very disappointed because I placed my order based on seeing that my boots were in stock and I should receive them within a week.

After ordering the item I get correspondence which says sorry we are out of stock, the item won’t be available until for many weeks, Do I want to cancel? No I don’t. Then I get an email saying it will be delayed but delivery will be a bit sooner. The week I am supposed to get the items I receive an email that says my order is cancelled, even though they expect to get the items in a few weeks. The person who writes to me won’t put the order in again. They cannot hold orders over 30 days. I ask can they do anything for all the inconvenience?. All I get is an apology So I called customer service after the response below. First while they say they cancel orders after 30 days, my order was canceled in less than 30 days. Second when I called it turns out they have 8 pairs of pants in stock. 4 days ago they supposedly did not. Yet they couldn’t send them according to my earlier correspondence for 17 more days. Go figure? Customer service then said the price went up. I asked for the price I was given originally to be honored. Oh they can’t do that. Don’t I know everything has gone up? But I knew as soon as they canceled it was to raise the price. Sure I know everything has gone up! The pants went up 45%!! This is either a series of misteps, disorganization or plain poor customer service. Still not satisfied. But today I got a call telling me they would honor the original price and will send me the items.

Construction Gear is very user friendly. I ordered the wrong jeans. They sent me a shipping label to return them That was no cost to me. I purchased another pair and they were too long. They sent me another order within a few days. They are a great company with real ppl to help. The jeans are great and Ill always order from them when I need jeans.

All went well and got my paints on time.

Very nice product, well made in the USA. You can see and feel the quality. I purchased one in each color.
