Great cabin. Good communication. Was charged $33 for the security deposit being placed on my credit card, which I didn't appreciate, but otherwise a great experience.

It was an amazing getaway before our baby was born. It was a perfect cabin, clean and everything we needed and more.

Our place was great!!! Plenty of room for the whole family (5 bedrooms!) the house is big enough that you’re not on top of each but cozy enough to all gather to play games while having the fireplace going in the living room or at the dining room table. Really enjoyed the full deck outside and the view!!!! Would definitely go back!

Our second time staying in this cabin near Boone, NC, and we will certainly be back! It is outfitted nicely, extremely comfortable, and exactly what we hope for in a mountain cabin. We highly recommend this cabin for families or couples looking for a scenic, quiet mountain retreat!

The process of making the reservations was very easy online. Everything was handled conveniently and easily via e-mail. There was no required check-in or check-out procedure. The keys were available at the cottage in a locked box that I accessed with a code I received via e-mail. I had to call the agency with some routine questions before and during our stay. Calls were handled efficiently with courtesy and professionalism. I would recommend this agency to others who are looking to stay in the area!

This house is In need of a major cleaning overhaul and TLC from the owners. We arrived and were so excited for our vacation but we were immediately let down with the filth this place was in. I can understand normal dust here and there, as it is a rental. The master bedroom carpets and walls are covered with undesirable stains and the walls in the master bath are dirty with water stains. The hall bathroom floor and toilet were dirty and the cabinets are covered in a years worth of dirt from renters. One of the living room sofa recliners is broken. Kitchen not well stocked and laminate edging on countertop was peeling. Downstairs bathroom was so molded and that’s where the kids would play. Deck had two metal tables and chairs and there were Adirondack chairs but both were broken and unusable. Only thing about this house that was really good was the view. This is a gorgeous house with lots of room and we LOVE the view but I will not be staying here again unless some major changes are made to cleaning and maintenance of the property. We come to Beech every year but I’m not spending my hard earned money to not to be able to kick my shoes off and relax on vacation. We are not overly picky and we know how rental properties get used and things are not perfect but one would at least expect a property to be CLEAN!!!! This company needs to seriously rethink their cleaning crews and hire someone that actually knows how to clean a house. There needs to be some painting done in some of the rooms and the master bedrooom carpet needs to be changed out or have Dry Pro come thoroughly clean it. The employees at CCR are very nice to talk with but the outsourcing of maintenance and cleaning is horrible! Kristen R. appears to have hit the nail on the head with her review in May of 2019 and not much appears to have been done to change anything. This review is just backing up her comments as well. Best 2BR rental for the price in the area! Excellent staff and response if any issues

Me and my family stayed at northern exposure, and the stay was quite unpleasant. We paid for 14 members and we were told we could get 8 club passes but the company ended up telling us we couldn’t even go, when we paid they said all 14 of us could go. We called and we were greeted with multiple employees who were rude and left 3 members of my family on hold for 20 minutes or more. I’m not happy with the company nor its employees and I will not be staying there again

The cabin so far has been pretty nice it’s self. We’re staying at Northern Exposure. However, we got here with the intentions of being able to all go to the club and swim (there’s 14 of us) and they said we could only take 8. Then come to find out, we weren’t able to go AT ALL. We payed over 1000 dollars for this cabin that was supposed to have certain accesses and we were not granted to them. We’ve talked to several people and nothing was done.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was in a nice and quiet area. It was very clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful time and we are looking forward to going back next year.
