I purchased a Porsche 924S - from your on-line auction in early February 2024 but due to illness I have been unable to use it as intended so I advertised it through your classified pages on 18th January 2025, amazingly it sold to someone over 300 miles away in Devon who viewed it on 22nd January and had it collected today, 24th January 2025. Many Thanks and will definitely use your website again.

Non conoscevo CeC, onestamente. E allora ho cercato di vendere il mio raro veicolo su marketplace, e altri siti di vendita. Risultato: un anno perso, decine di persone che mi chiedono informazioni, dieci visite al mezzo senza alcun risultato, giochi al ribasso a non finire. Infine, frustrazione. Poi un giorno ricevo un messaggio da Nunzio, facciamo una breve chiacchierata, mi metto nelle sue mani. E con gentilezza, competenza e facendomi pure divertire, mi accompagna velocemente alla felice vendita del mio mezzo. Sono soddisfattissimo e ringrazio di cuore CeC per avermi aiutato, specialmente nella persona di Nunzio e poi di Margherita.

Technically and organisationally your platform is good. Your advise to auction without reserve was wrong a made me lose a lot of money! I will not listen to your recommendations another time!

Your goal is to write fake comments in trustpilot just to make impression for not so careful buyers. If a buyer cheque can easily understand that after an item was purchased the SAME ITEM APPEARS again in a new auction. And you afraid to say I stole your money and so you answer that the case is under investigation.Your items are the same again and again looking for someone to trap. In which part of your rules is whiten that if I can’t buy the “car” not of my fault but because it’s a fake you punish me by stealing fees. I asked from you to say clearly we don’t want to pay but no answer because you sirs afraid to have problems with the law.ok sirs I lost one thousand euros but I read other buyers who had more problems like flaming turbos and your answers were: you must examine before the purchase. Fake platform with fake comments. If my friends don’t want problems stay away. Be careful.

My wife and I had a change of direction with our classics so we sold 2 and purchased 2 all through auction that better suited us moving forward. Car & Classic auctions secure escrow was the initial draw but having experienced both sides we can not fault the entire process. Having real people with us from start to finish, working often late at night to help us secure a sale for one that didn't make it on the night, is what this company is all about. I have been a user of C&C for many, many years, from back when it was a pure classified ad site. Its most recent incarnation is an altogether more grasping affair, it seems. I recently used C&C auctions for a second time in 12 months or so to sell a bike, and despite my first experience being largely positive, I will not be using them again. If you are sitting comfortably, then I will begin… I recently had a Ducati up for auction, which didn’t reach its reserve price in the auction. I was, however, contacted by one of the agents after the auction end to attempt to broker a sale with the highest bidder. After much back and forth, in which I expressly stated my minimum NET price on numerous occasions, hence the endless number of contacts to agree this figure with the agent, I found that I was going to receive €1000 less than the agreed price. I discovered this after the transfer of the bike had taken place. I contacted the agent immediately, who claimed this was all documented on his side and that the reduced figure what was I was indeed due to receive… well, that may be the case, but that’s definitely NOT what we agreed on the phone. I’m pretty sure they will reply with some fantasy story that I agreed to this and that, but I am 100% sure of the net figure I stated and it was a grand more than I received. Someone is going to be telling lies, and it isn’t me. You who are reading this must decide who to believe, of course, and I’m certain C&C will claim this and that and point to their record, but I am not in the habit of making this type of thing up. Maybe I am too trusting, as I assumed a verbal agreement would be honoured, but no, some spurious figures and commission fees they claim are documented and agreed, yet weren’t provided in writing to me, are supposed to be believed. You make your choice, but “caveat venditor” in my most recent experience. Over to them, to try to convince you otherwise… Ask yourselves, what have I to gain by making this public? The grand has gone AWOL, make sure yours doesn’t.

The answers to my questions were quick and helpful. The payement also was quick.

Great selling experience but the seller fees seem a little high, The listing fee was reasonable especially considering they sent a photographer out who took hundreds of pictures and a video, the selling experience was simple, potential buyers can ask questions which are available for public view as are your answers, I found this good and bad, the bad bit is the negative points/comments potential buyers can put in the questions, putting doubt in other bidders heads, the good bit is you can answer the questions and try and put bidders minds at rest, I would recommend car and classic and would use them again, it would be nice if the fees were a little lower for the seller though.

I found the experience of selling on the auction site very satisfying. There was always someone available to communicate with should it be required. You may or may not find cheaper but I doubt better. A refreshingly professional experience.
