Straightforward process

I sold my Jaguar XK within two weeks of posting it on Car & Classic. The process was seamless. I would highly recommend this approach as in my opinion Car & Classic tends to attract more genuine buyers and not the 'tyre kickers' trying to make a quick buck. In fact I had a second enquiry before I managed to take the add down. I would recommend that sellers ask for a realistic price.

I have used Cars and Classic to sell "unusual" cars I have owned improved enjoyed for a few years then moved on to something else. In this case on my rounds as a Motor Factor delivery driver one of our garages had an old Volvo in that had unfortunately been written off but was repairable. I repaired and restored the car over several months and used it over the winter. When I came to sell the car it was the previous owner who bought the car back after being unable to get anyone to repair it after it had been damaged. It was an incredible experience.

The buyer was french without a word of english and we found it hard to arrange transport with him.

I've used this site for buying and selling classic cars for over 20 years and found it is the best site by far for buying or selling classic cars, I'm not a dealer I've just had classics for a long time.
