Ordered pallet of bricks with 3 day delivery. Then received email asking for £300 more on top of the listed price on website. Cancelled order. Went back on site and they were still up for original price. All prices should be removed from site if they can’t supply at that price. Amazon would be shut down if they tried this.

Paul, was the only person who got back to me and managed to find some of the bricks I needed. All the other building suppliers either didn’t get back to me or said there isn’t any.
I was looking for an item what was impossible to find.. He found it in Leeds & Glasgow. Where I would never even try. We got it next day as promised. Plenty phone calls backwards and forwards only to satisfy customers. After delivery arrived phoned to make sure all ok. 100% recommended to deal with such a guy. Thanks again. Joel

Ordered 2.7m moistureboard for a bathroom renovation. Competitive price. Quick delivery with plasterboard arriving in perfect condition. Delivery driver was outstanding efficiently offloading in super quick time even on a busy road.

I bought and paid for pea shingle online. Delivery agreed for a charge of £20. The following day I received an e-mail cancelling the order, not as I was outside the delivery area, but my site location (MOD land) had caused the company delay previously; I assume this would have been signing at the gate, which takes minutes at the most. I explained that I had not had similar problems with deliveries in the 20 years I had lived here, including skips and other large deliveries. The response from Building Material was that the transport team wouldn’t do it. I imagine the long distance and relatively small order (£600) had some influence. Poor reflection of the company although to be fair, e-mails were prompt and polite.

My first order and delivery was fine, the delivery driver was very professional and polite, thank you driver. I needed to repeat the order and the price had gone up by £120 for the same quantity over just a couple of days, and I’m still waiting for it to be delivered
