Very disappointed with timber I have ordered planty of C16 Treated Timber 75x47[mm] but I received all in 70x47 when I asked why they sent me different product I get replay to read T&C that size can be slightly different. I can understand various sizes on few pieces but clearly I have received different product. Do not recommend to people who don't read T&C before.

Good customer service. They were let down by one of their suppliers so didn't get the product to us in time - but they did communicate the issue very well and worked hard to rectify it. Luckily we had a few days grace and so it wasn't a problem in the end. Tom Tyson was extremely helpful.

Superb service. I needed a specific lintel for my project and it seemed like BuildingMaterials.co.uk was just about the only merchant that could supply it. It wasn't a big or high value order but Matt in Sales went above and beyond to make sure the lintel was available when I needed it. Will order from them again and can highly recommend.

I Placed a large order of bricks with this company, the delivery cost was not stated on the website. They contacted me afterwards to inform me I had to pay an additional £90+VAT for haulage - which is fair enough. It should have been stated. I received an email confirming the delivery date and arranged work on site. The delivery date comes and several chasing phone calls later I was told it was not coming on that day. When I asked about a discount for the missed delivery I was told by Pam 'In this case, there is nothing we can do' despite an email specifically outlining a date well in advance of the original order date that I had paid in excess of the original order for. I would very much recommend you look elsewhere for as the prices are not true, I had to chase and chase for a phone call back and the reliability is atrocious.

We had a great experience with this company from beginning to end. Their prices were excellent, ordering easy, and their public relations and customer service was par none. Our delivery was on time and the timber was of excellent quality. Grahame was an absolute star. We’ve definitely found our supplier.
