Online ordering was easy and straight forward. The delivery driver couldn’t have been more helpful. We live on narrow lane, he unloaded and helped move my delivery to handy spot.

We decided to choose Building shop because of very competitive prices. We could afford everything we needed. The only thing I could point is that the delivery was one day late. We weren't in a hurry so it didn't affect us at all. We will choose them again for sure!

Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service. A family run company that treated me like family. I was extremely grateful that they called me back when they said they would and organised the impossible swiftly and without fuss. I had telephoned 20 plus large company’s that couldn’t manage to deliver the amount of gravel I needed in the time I needed. This company did it. I will always use them and as a property manager will be giving their details to all of our contractors. Best service I have had from any company ever. All the best and thank you.

Terrible. Ordered and requested delivery on a specic date. Accepting delivery dates are not confirmed, selected a Monday when I knew i'd be available on the Tues & Weds. First delivery of material arrived the Thurs before when I was not home. This left my 7 month pregnant wife who was looking after our 2 year old to deal with the heavy delivery in pouring rain. Second delivery on the Friday of sheet plasterboard in the snow. Delivered the wrong plasterboard, should have been tapered edge not square. Also, looked like they had picked all the worst damaged bits to deliver. Delivery came from my local builders merchants. Had I have known, I would have gone there myself! Really poor service. Will not use again.

Received wrong goods
Received wrong goods. Sent e mail and tried to contact through phone - no respond. Now stuck with 15 plasterboard not fit for purpose. Dont bother with them.

Total Customer Satisfaction! 1. We received two phone calls prior to delivery so they could make sure everything was OK. 2. There was an extra item delivered. When I offered to pay for it, they declined! 3. Some of the items delivered were the wrong colour. They contacted The delivery stockist who are coming next business day to make good the error. What more could anyone want from a company? They are polite, eager to help and correct where necessary and friendly and, oh yes, by the way, their prices are incredibly low! Save your money and save your blood pressure! Buy your building materials from the Building Shop.

I had a good purchase experience using this company for the first time. It was delivered on the date given when the order was received. I also received a message about half hour before delivery was due to take place. All items were present and intact. Good affordable prices.

Would avoid.
Item delivered is not the same as image. And delivered late and no contact made to inform - we had to chase. Contacted day of delivery to return… Have had to chase and chase, still not collected 2 weeks on. Contact is very unprofessional, rush you off the phone, online chat is hit and miss. Always ‘delays’. Seems happy to take your money, otherwise, on your own. Wouldn’t use again and would caution others to look elsewhere.
