Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals Reviews

Had difficulty accessing the property. Property was not cleaned. Beer cans in the fire pit, leaves and debris on the front porch, no towels in the master bath, and the bathroom and kitchen were filthy. Despite the fact that we made multiple calls to the management company, nothing was done to correct the defects and we never received a return phone call from anyone who could make a decision or correct the problems.

Beautiful setting! Spacious & Private but not far from town. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms very clean.

Blue Ridge Mountain rentals is the best rental company I have ever used. They are professional and quick to handle any requests. I have used them many many times and will continue in the future!

Personalized service. Maintenance was punctual when needing service. Great communication. Wold rent again from BRMR.

We had a great time in Chestnut 8 at Chetola. We got to see all of our friends and lunch and dinner with them. We walked around Bass Lake many days. We love the cool breezes. It was HOT where we live.

BRMR has got to be one of the most responsive property rental companies ever. The property we rented did not have a blender, so I called the office and they left a blender at my front door within 2 hours. This is not an unusual response from BRMR, as I have rented through them for several years, and every time I’ve had a problem, they resolve it pronto. Absolutely 5 stars!

A wonderful place to head to enjoy the sounds of nature relaxing on the large covered porch. The cabin is spacious and the surroundings are beautiful. Everything thing is supplied and is clean. We will be back!

Overall my experience was excellent. The cabin is lovely, nice view from porch, quiet and secure (gated) area and very close to Banner Elk. I did encounter a few issues. When I arrived I could not get the key from the lock box because of the difficulty trying to get it open. I checked in early around 1:30 on Friday July 11 and I was unable to get help from the office, but fortunately Vita your cleaning supervisor arrived next door and was able to help me. Thank you so much Vita. It took almost an hour to get in the cabin. This lock should be replaced with a keypad. This cabin is lovely for one person, but I would not recommend a long stay. No vacuum, dishwasher, or basic laundry supplies. Also the parking is uphill which is difficult to leave if someone is in the cabin next door. I was able to backdown when necessary, but would have preferred not to have this issue.

Very clean cabin. Kitchen was well stocked. Comfy den furniture. Loved the porch. Easy to find with great directions.

Excellent service…as always…year after year!!

The cabin was comfortable, clean and watching the animals out of den was endless entertainment for the children.

Had a great stay at Valle Creek Cabin. Cabin is in a quiet, peaceful area with close proximity to Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. Relax outside by the backyard creek or on the porches. Home is well equipped for all kinds of cooking, with cozy and excellent beds. Looking forward to the next trip.

We had an excellent experience. The location of our house was convenient to Banner Elk. The house was clean and looked exactly like the pictures.

The four of us really enjoyed the cabin. Perfect location and the view was stellar. Really enjoyed the sunset off the deck every night. Immaculately clean and everything you need. We would definitely stay there again!

Probably the worst experience with a house that we’ve ever had. The home had trash piled up on the inside and outside of the trashcan when we arrived inside the fenced in yard. We chose that house because of the fenced in yard so our dogs could be free to run around, but the trash didn’t get picked up until the next day so we couldn’t use the yard. The home had huge stains in every single bedroom, and ants were crawling all over the kitchen window/cabinets. The next day we had two men at separate times come to look at the dented broken microwave and deal with the Ant situation. The next day Lawn service came. We decided to leave the house one night early given the fact that we really didn’t get to fully relax or enjoy our time given the interruptions and discomfort we felt due to the house not feeling kept up. Rental company gave us a refund of one night(I guess the night we didn’t stay) $150 credit for a future stay but we will likely not rent from them again. The person who helped us with our issues was very kind. The bathrooms and bed linens were clean.

We’ve used Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals multiple times and the experience has always been great! Lots of beautiful mountain properties that are easy to book!

Great cabin and a lovely location. Really enjoyed our stay there!

Owner in process of selling home, will show up with little to no notice with others to go through inside and around home, and will send contractors to work throughout whole day until 7pm while you are there limiting your access to areas around the home. Rental company unaware and disconnected with scheduling of work on house or visits. Have little to no regard or concern for renters.

Fabulous property! Great location near Boone, Valle Crucis, and Banner Elk but still private and secluded. The cabin is impeccable and well stocked. We enjoyed the gas grill and hot tub. Great views from covered wrap around porch with rocking chairs. We will be coming back!

I called specifically to make sure the hot tub would be clean when we arrived and it wasn’t at all. Huge disappoint. We couldn’t even use it.
