We had a fantastic holiday in Borneo arranged by Audley. We had never used a bespoke agent before previously making our own arrangements but didn’t know where to start with Borneo. The experience with Audley exceeded our expectations and the price was actually very good when our package was built Our specialist Charlotte Callin had so much local knowledge and was amazing arranging every detail and tailoring for our needs. Everything was perfect with drivers meeting us as required. Trips and guides fantastic and people on the ground ensuring we were in the right place at the right time and absolutely no holiday stress. The accommodations and trips Charlotte arranged were amazing and gave us a fantastic holiday experience. There were also lots of extra touches. My wife has a very restricted diet which we thought may be a problem in Malaysia with sauces and spices but Charlotte had contacted all our lodges and resorts and each meal they presented to her was with plain grilled chicken or fish and plain rice separately and freshly cooked especially for my wife The Audley experience was perfect start to finish with an amazing itinerary, all international and internal flights and transfers and trips arranged and presented to us in a binder meeting all the requirements we had outlined . We had two video calls to arrange the dream holiday and a pre trip call with Charlotte to ensure any last minute questions answered and a post holiday debrief Can not rate Charlotte or Audley highly enough and we will certainly be using Audley again for our next complex adventure

After having a 5star experience around africa last year with audley we gave them the opportunity to arrange an India tour , we have 4 days left and will be leaving very disappointed on the whole the quality of hotels they have put us in have been substandard . We told them we liked good 5 star botique hotels were possible and money was never an issue. 1.claridges delhi , could be a lovely hotel but in need of a lot of tlc on the outside of the building and the balconies.We paid for a diplomatic suite but the outside balcony was unusable as it was a building site..Breakfast was first class 2Courtyard by marriot deluxe room .Arrived only to be told it was a room with no outside balcony, so we paid £60 a night to upgrade to a balcony room...Breakfasts were awful. 3.Ranthanbore kothi hotel ..A terrible experience , it was obvious when we arrived the air con in the room was broken , i told them 3 times and they assured us it was being repaired , at 11pm at night they eventually offered us a 8x7 ft room with no windows to sleep in ,until the next day were they moved us to a lovely suite.Not acceptable and despite telling audley india we had to sort it all ourselves. 4.JAIPUR samode havelli hotel , hevelli suite , a superb 5 star hotel 5.MUMBAI trident nariman point hotel , a lovely 5 star hotel 6.GOA taj fort aguada deluxe room sea view..On arriving we were shown to our so called deluxe room and again no outside balcony and it had a pungant smell to it , we told them we wanted moving and were refusing to stay in that for 6 nights , i contacted audley india and told them to speak to the hotel or move hotels for us , who goes to the beach for a week and is not able to relax from your rooms . Audley took 24 hrs to get back to us and said i hope your happy in your new room , WHICH I WAS LEFT TO SORT MYSELF AGAIN.this is a 3/4 star hotel at best , the taj hotel next door is miles better which we were never offered So all in all its been a really disappointing travelling experience and next years trip to america we will arrange ourselves , im convinced that the audley reps in india whom are sorting these hotels out are not visiting them enough UPDATE ON THIS REVIEW .. after speaking to catherine at audley on our return we had long discussions with her and i believe audley have told the claridgies hotel , and rathanbore kothi about our issues ..we have come to an agreement with audley and thank them for their imput into rectifying the issues so nobody else should experience what we did at these 2 hotels..... The after sales service since we returned has been first class

Following a perfect holiday to India, arranged by Audley, I contacted them for a similar holiday to Vietnam. Christian Le Fort took an my case and we discussed my requirements. Using his extensive experience on Vietnam he put together an extensive itinerary for me which we discussed, tweaked and finalised. He provided me with copious information about my itinerary prior to my departure. The holiday was fantastic and covered everything I wanted. I had a great time and it was another holiday to remember. I now have the difficulty of deciding where to go to next and get Audley on the job or arranging it. Thank you Audley and especially Christian.

Two long haul trips to India now and both were meticulously planned and attended to by Audley's specialists. Great customer service and constantly checking in for feedback of satisfaction and quick to intervene if anything reported is less than perfect. Adequate is not an option for Audley.

What a fantastic holiday we have just had, planned with the excellent and friendly help of Amy from Audley Travel who, having lived in NZ, was able to give us valuable insider knowledge of what to see and where to stay. The whole trip ran smoothly, without hitch, and we loved every minute of it. The trip was originally planned for 2024 but had to be postponed for medical reasons and Amy dealt with this without problem, rebooking everything for 2025. New Zealand is a wonderful country with so much to see and we are grateful to Amy for guiding us through the planning and making our bucket list Kiwi adventure absolutely "awesome"! We are already planning our next adventure, with Audley of course!

We have just returned from a wonderful self drive tour of New Zealand. This was the trip of a life time for us and our Audley specialist Amy Waters helped us every step of the way. With her inside knowledge of NZ she was able to make suggestions that really made our trip memorable and she gave us friendly and helpful support at every step of the planning stage right through to our post holiday catch up. We cannot fault Audley Travel, they are first class in every way and the 24/7 support available in NZ if required was also brilliant.

This Iceland Trip far exceeded all our Expectations Hotel Ranga in Hella & The Alda Hotel in Reykjavik were great. Audley Travel & the local support Eskimos were on-point. For the first time in recent memory, I had no anxiety about our travel plans... Our Daily Excursions were Epic, with both Tour Guides, Esther & Ainar being local experts in all things Icelandic. We had mission success on our 3rd Night in experiencing the Norther Lights twice The Caves of Hella, Numerous Water-Falls, Black Sand Beaches, Vik, Volcano / Glacier / Thor's Valley / Geysir Center & The Indoor Eco-Friendly Tomato Farm & Restaurant were all wonderful ! Reykjavik was extremely interesting w/ lots of historical sights, wide range of restaurants, shopping was easy and the Sky Lagoon was a total blast. We also did a Food Walking Tour of downtown that was a total delight. Perlan Museum was seriously informative My Wife & I are already discussing returning during in Summertime to experience Iceland when its warm

Audley have been a brilliant discovery. Amy Waters totally "got" our requirements and built the most amazing trip to New Zealand for us. Her insider knowledge made all the difference and her top tips which we acted upon really helped our holiday remain a wonderful and relaxed experience. Audley have gone beyond our expectations and provided in depth itinerary information and contacts for us to use whilst away, along with some very nice personal touches. I would highly recommend using this company, we felt in very safe, knowledgeable hands for the whole trip. It was lovely to feel we had back up should we have needed it during our holiday also, but good to report it wasn't needed. Thank you for making this a very memorable trip for us!

I've just returned from an amazing holiday in Easter Island which I booked through Audley Travel. I'd done an awful lot of research on Easter Island and knew that I didn't want the "standard" tourist experience. I wanted to see as many of the sites where the Moai (statues) were located, even if those sites were just ruins and I also wanted to understand more of the history of the Rapa Nui people. My specialist, Caroline Revnell put together a bespoke trip for me based on a 3-day stay in Easter Island. Sol, the local guide who escorted me for the 3 days was incredible and the whole trip was fantastic - something I will always remember. This is my 3rd holiday booked with Audley and all 3 have all been brilliant.

From minute one Audley were looking to cater to what I wanted and asked for while at the same time giving their expertise on what they thought would be best as I had no experience in Malaysia, my excursions set out for me were fantastic and included some cultural and historical tours of Kuala Lumpur, Kuching and Penang. Some wildlife tours and some food tours as well. All flights were organised as so there were little stop over, tour guides and drivers were always on time and very informative and welcoming, accommodation was flawless including facilities, staff and location. Information given before going was relevant and helped make adapting to another country in a different time zone, different weather and climate much easier. Charlotte was my specialist and communication was always swift and informative any query I made were answered and then some (including a late curve ball when I realised it would be Ramadan during the time I visited. All in all I had a fantastic experience with Audley and if anyone is considering using them I can comfortably give a glowing recommendation, I travelled alone and having an expert take all the weight of figuring out whats best to do and wheres best to stay, how to get to and from places made my holiday a dream.

All of our requested plans,stopovers and events arranged at our request by Audley went extremely well. In addition attention to detail by our Travel Advisor Amy such as accommodation, hire car and travel advice deserves a special mention so TY for arranging our adventure.

We had a great experience with Audley Travel. They came through for us - big time- when we had last minute changes to our travel plans. A manager got involved and everyone there helped pivot our plane tickets and itinerary so that we did not lose money, and still had a fantastic itinerary planned. They listened to our needs and wants and came up with a unique plan, different than many of their more standard intineraries. I will definitely use Audley again.

We had a marvelous time in Portugal, and can't thank our specialist, Claire, for suggesting a cooking class! It was the highlight of our trip.

This was our second holiday using Audley and they certainly excelled in every way. Audley make travelling effortless, so a huge thank you to Scott davenport and Robyn Hutton's for creating such a wonderful experience. Safari in the Serengeti surpassed all expectations. The Lamala accommodation was also superb. The safari guide Julius was brilliant too. Finally we finished with a week in the glorious Manta resort hotel on Pemba Island. All this was suggested and put together by Audley.

Our Thailand trip was planned perfectly to suit our needs (thank you Hannah). Our transport was always on time and we had the same driver throughout. He was always ready with cold water whenever we returned to the minibus. Our guide was one of the best that we have ever had. He dealt with all the minor expenses such as entrance fees and tuc-tucs so we didn’t have to look for cash the entire time. Our accommodation was of the standard that we requested - relaxing boutique hotels. All in all, a seamless, relaxing but educational trip.

Our trip to Canada has been arranged for us by Leonardo Montavoci. From our first planning conversation he has been helpful and informative. He is easy to talk to and has given us good advice about how to get the best out of our trip. He has booked everything for us including trips and walks which he knew we would like. It has been a real pleasure planning our trip with him and we are really excited to get there now and experience it. Thank so much for your help.

Over priced. Not as knowledgeable as they purport to be. Try another travel agency and 99% certain will get as good a holiday considerably cheaper. After 4 holidays with Audley where something always went wrong with the planning side of things decided to try Trailfinders. Two holidays later both have gone like clockwork and much cheaper.

Myself and my fiancée had the immense pleasure of speaking to and dealing with Kerry Stevens. No matter how I say it, words will never adequately describe the outstanding level of customer service she provided us. From the first call to the very last, Kerry put a huge amount of effort in getting the very best plan for us and she made sure to get to know us and tailor the experience to us. By the end of the process, we felt like we made a great friend and she definitely exceeded every expectation with the package she offered us. Me and my fiancée went back and forth many times, so we kept adding and taking away bits from the honeymoon but Kerry happily made as many iterations as we needed which was absolutely exceptional. If you're planning a trip to South Africa, look no further and contact Kerry because she'll make sure to give you the very best experience possible! Our trip to South Africa involved a three centre holiday starting in the "winelands" staying in Franschhoek at "The Last Word" boutique hotel. This was followed by a few days in the magnificently wild Sanbona Reserve staying at the superb Tilney Manor) and finally a three night stay in Cape Town at the Welgelegen Guest House. All the accommodation was very luxurious and the trips and transfer arrangements made by Audley were just great. Our lasting impression of our time in S Africa was one of an incredibly beautiful country with vast ordered plantations of fruit crops, perfectly surfaced roads with no litter or graffiti. Well worth another visit

Audley Travel and Sean Wilson (Boston office) have done a fabulous job in arranging two 3-week wildlife trips to India, 2024 and 2025. We saw so many great animals and birds! Sean is Audley's India wildlife specialist and his extensive knowledge and experience are key to creating a perfect trip. In addition, it's a pleasure to work with him. Audley's India ground operator is organized and dependable, providing flawless service for all reservations, internal flights, airport pick-ups and comfortable road travel with a private driver in air-conditioned vehicles complete with snacks and Wi-Fi. Sean's recommended accommodations were a highlight of the trips. From lovely safari camps to unique hotels to beautiful, luxury tents every choice was exactly right. All the food was fresh, delicious and safe to eat. Safe drinking water was always available. On a scale of 1 to 10 these trips were an 11! We will definitely travel with Audley again.
