NO CONTRATEN CON ESTE PROVEEDOR, A LAS 14HS DE HOY RESERVE POR PRIMERA VEZ UN COCHE, LO PAGUÉ, PAGUÉ EL SEGURO TAMBIEN, Y LUEGO DE PAGAR APARECEN LOS REQUISITOS DE RETIRO DEL VEHICULO, Y UNO DE ELLOS ERA QUE TENIA QUE PRESENTAR TARJETA DE CREDITO CON LIMITE DE 1000 EUROS. COMO NO CONTABA CON ESE REQUISITO (DEL CUAL ME ENTERÉ LUEGO DE PAGAR, PORQUE APARECIÓ LUEGO DE REALIZAR EL PAGO), REALICE EL RECLAMO PORQUE ESTABA AUN A TIEMPO. EL COCHE LO RESERVE A LAS 14HS PARA RETIRAR A LAS 16HS. LO UNICO QUE ME DECIA EL DE ATENCION AL CLIENTE ERA QUE DEBERIA HABER AVISADO 48 HS ANTES!!! SI LA RESERVA ERA PARA EL MISMO DIA!!! BASICAMENTE ME DIJERON QUE ME JODA Y QUE EL DINERO NO IBAN A REINTEGRARMELO. MI MIEDO ES QUE ENCIMA COMO ESTE PAGO FUE EN LINEA, ES QUE ME SIGAN APLICANDO CARGOS INEXISTENTES. NO CONTRATEN NUNCA NADA CON ELLOS!!

The helpdesk in the Whatsapp group is tremendously good. I should say they are very helpful in answering all my inquiries. The only thing about Europcar is that the scheduled car taken time is at 7:00 am but there was no one at the counter at that time so it delayed our scheduled itinerary. But this is not Argus mistake.

Ne passez JAMAIS pour louer votre véhicule aux us par cette entreprise argus car hire ! Ce sont des VOLEURS ! plus de 2000€ encaissés pour une location de 40 jours aux us. Le comptoir de loueur n’a pas pu me délivrer la voiture (alors que location et assurances déjà réglées) au motif que ma carte n’était pas à crédit pour le dépôt de 400 dollars. J’ai donc commandé en urgence une carte de crédit auprès de ma banque en France. Je la reçois, retourne au comptoir et la : commande annulée par argus care hire (qui ne veut pas rembourser) et qui ne règle pas non plus le fournisseur (alamo) ils ont donc conservé plus de 2000€, rien réglé a alamo (qui ne leur a rien facturé) et refusent le remboursement ou la prise du véhicule ! Update JUNE 3rd : L’entreprise ARGUS CAR HIRE refuse le remboursement / la mise à disposition du véhicule : ARNAQUE ! chez les concurrents ce type de situation entraîne la facturation de frais de l’ordre de 50€, chez ARGUS CAR HIRE : 2000 € !!!! Update 19 juin : Malgré un écrit de la direction entreprises mobility (alamo, national, entreprise) attestant de l’absence totale de facturation, ARGUS CARE HIRE refuse tout remboursement ou geste commercial. Ils conservent donc 2000€ en l’absence de toute prestation (et refuse même la mise à disposition du véhicule pour la durée restante de la location déjà réglée alors même que alamo a le véhicule toujours disponible)

Booked a car through Argus in Houston, TX in Jan 2024. They charged my credit card $247.40 for the car. Went to their supplier Easirent to pick up the car during business hours on April 6th, 2024. I was told they do not have any cars and haven't had any since the previous evening at 6 PM. Left me and my family stranded with no car. We had to rent a car at triple the usual prices. Still haven't received a refund for the rental they never provided. THIS IS A FRADULENT BUSINESS. DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM ARGUS CAR HIRE.

Honestly poor experience delayed in picking the car up and considered a no show as we were unable to take charge of the vehicle that day. Unable to amend the system with customer service and therefore considered a no show for booking. Not a good company to go through I'm afraid

We hired a car via Argus Car Hire. The car rental company did not accept our credit card for the deposit. They said it was asking for a signature instead of a PIN and that I should book an additional insurance to waive the deposit. This is a commonly known scam. I could not reach anyone from Argus eccept for the WhatsApp Chat, which wasn't helpful. However, when filing a complaint with Argus Car Hire, they just replied that the car rental company says I haven't remembered my PIN so they couldn't rent out the car to me. This is an obvious lie as it was no problem for me to rent a car the same day with the same credit card after this incident at another company. So don't expect any compensation from Argus,they seem to cooperate with scamming car rental companies. Reply to Mahmoud: as i said, i had my PIN. You can reply this as often as you want, your reply does not get better every time you repeat ot.

Good car, great service, everything fine...would rent a car again

Delivered an equivalent car to meet needs. Purchased extra insurance via argus hire, and local hire firm tried to undermine that and state that I needed theirs. Car was sufficient.

Great communication, pick up and drop off were very easy and stress free.

Booked with them but decided to cancel. They are supposed to do a full refund but they kept some of my money. Scammers!

Reibungslose Abwicklung: Vom Shuttle Service vom Flughafen zur Service Station, der Übergabe bis zur Rückgabe. Die Zeiten waren genau auf die angegebenen Flugnummern abgestimmt. Fahrzeug sehr gepflegt und in der bestellten Klasse. Sehr zufrieden!

Scam company that frequently leaves people without cars, avoid if possible

Reibungslos, freundlich und gut. Einziges Manko: Auch 24 Stunden nach Mietende wird die Kaution auf der Kreditkarte immer noch geblockt - immerhin 1.600,- Euro

Auto prenotata per le 23:00. 23:06 chiamiamo l’ufficio e ci dicono che “sono chiusi perché non abbiamo avvisato del ritardo”. Trattati a pesci in faccia. Viene fuori che erano aperti perchè altre persone avevano avvisato del ritardo, arriviamo dopo 25 minuti a piedi perché indirizzo corretto non segnalato nella prenotazione (Olbia), e ci addebitano 70€ di sovrapprezzo “per il ritardo” con auto pagata 40€. Truffatori. Dicendo che alle 23:01 comunque sarebbe stato addebitato il sovrapprezzo. NON PRENOTATE.
