Excellent Service
I cannot fault the service I received from Rachel Mack. She went that extra mile to ensure that she was able to offer me exactly what I wanted from my river cruise choice. I had many questions and requirements which she dealt with in a friendly, helpful manner whilst remaining professional at all times. It was a pleasure to deal with her, she is a credit to APT.

Fabulous boat, wonderfull holiday.
Fabulous boat, immaculately maintained, excellent ports of call, enthusiastic and informative Tour Director, plenty of food and drink, ( though served by less than enthusiastic staff, no eye contact, little rapport ). Overall, an exceptionally good trip. We would strongly recommend APT to anyone considering a small motor yacht cruise.,

Recently back from a Rhine Cruise and would really recommend the company. Everything was very well organised and top quality and value for money. Interesting excursions, good food and drinks onboard. Lovely staff and very helpful with any queries etc.

No one can control the weather.
Well organised, very informative, lovely staff and ship. Due to high water levels we had to use coaches for the last part of our trip. The staff worked very hard to make sure our journeys were as smooth as possible and we completed our itinerary.

A disappointing experience
We booked the Travelmarvel river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest as an early celebration of our golden wedding anniversary. The first week was excellent: lovely ship, wonderful food and all very relaxing. Then the ship got stranded because of flooding on the Danube and everything changed. We had a couple of long coach trips out from the stranded ship then had to choose between flying home or continuing as a coach trip. We chose the latter, as we particularly wanted to see Vienna and Budapest, but it wasn’t a good experience. We spent up to 5.5 hours per day on the coach and the standard of the food was poor. After a week of fine dining we mostly had buffets with low quality food, and at one venue the food ran out before everyone was served. It was tiring, fraught and a terrible let-down after such a lovely first week. APT couldn’t do anything about the flood, but they did not provide alternative food and accommodation of the standard we had paid for.

Excellently looked after.
My wife and I enjoyed immensely our first river cruise. The staff, facilities, food and drink, trips with places visited, were outstanding and memorable. Catering for my wife’s reduced mobility was handled sensitively and with consummate ease. You had the choice to do as much or as little as you liked. Simply, a dream holiday.
