I have purchase numerous items from Store # on Rodi Rd in Penn Hills, PA. In the past I had issues with the customer service, the warranty claim process and the overall products I purchased. In November of 2018 I bought a sectional couch with a 5 year extended warranty. In November of last year the couch started to have issues. A very noticeable tear along the hem line of one of the cushions. I called the store and since it was just a year I began the long and tedious process of filing a warranty claim. Got no response from the store or anything. A couple months later I get ahold of someone explaining the claim we put in and they said they had no record of it and for me to do another one. At this point one of the arms of the sectional had noticeable dipping, another tear was forming and you felt all of the boards in the couch when you sat on it. Completely uncomfortable. Filled out the online warranty claim. A couple weeks later still no response. Called the store and a guy said I did it the wrong way. I had to file a Guardian Protection claim because now we are outside of the 1 yr factory warranty. Again I start over and I get a response from Guardian saying it could take 30-60 days to get a response. Couch continues to get worse, springs coming through, a 12” x 12” hole forming u set one of the cushions....I eventually call the store again and finally get Calvin on the phone. He was the manager. He helped me get an answer from Guardian that was never sent to me. He said that Guardian had denied my claim saying the damage was outside of my warranty period (5 yr?). That was impossible and he understood. He said for me to call him back the next day, he was going to take care of it in store. I called him and he said that I could come in and he would handle the replacement of the couch that was obviously within the warranty period. This past month I finally made it to the store and picked out a new sectional and he scheduled it for delivery for me. Calvin is an exceptional talent as manager. His calmness and wherewithal is a benefit to the company and this store in particular. He k we that I had been through the ringer and given the run around and now, during Corona Virus, he went above and beyond to make sure that he kept a customer, a happy and satisfied customer. Yesterday my new sectional arrived, and the family loves it. Hopefully it lasts way longer than the last one did but I know that if I have any issues, Calvin will take care of me.

I ordered a matress set for my son paid for and was given the delivery date of July 1. I got a call confirming the date and given the time between 3-5. 530 comes no delivery. I called the number on my receipt and was put on hold for 44 minutes.. I went to the store and the manager was hiding out in his office, made us wait for him. He said he didnt know where the delivery people were. I returned my order. I will NEVER do business with them again!

BOTTOM LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OVER $2,600.00 for a FRIDGE that lasted only 2 YEARS 3 MONTHS DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE I bought a Kenmore Elite refrigerator 2.5 years ago. The compressor went 6 weeks ago? I called for repair to SEARS (800) 4MY-HOME, They said that the Compressor was under warranty, great, Almost $500.00 for labor, (plus cost of losing Groceries $200.00) Repairman comes out, I check in two hours and it is starting to work. I go food shopping, spend over $325.00. Go in just now to start putting dinner together and both freezer and fridge are warm. SEARS Joke of Customer service says we can send someone out at no cost on July 7th, two and a half more weeks for the possibility of shopping again and losing more money. Now they have a new name for this place, so no one has to take responsibility, SEARS is laughing cause they keep stringing me along not fixing my somewhat new fridge. Just remembered, on the date of delivery 3 February 2018, the water dispenser kicked water out all over, we were told to "wedge a wad of something in there" to stop the flow disconnect the water hose, then in two weeks the service department would come out, but no replacement will be made.
I went to the American Freight on Owen Dr. in Antioch, TN and Josh and Rob helped me out so much with picking out furniture. Very nice men and they helped me save a bunch of money on my furniture. I will be returning if I need any more furniture.
American Freight in Moraine Ohio rips people off, they're very unprofessional especially some of the employees. The manager Kay and assistant manager Josh should be fired because they don't make sure people that spend there are taken care of when there's a problem with furniture you be done bought there and they are both extremely big liars when it come to them handling replacement furniture that people be done got approved to be replaced. Please do not shop there because they rip people off. American Freight advertise one thing and when you go there to buy what they be done advertised on TV and your phone message it be something totally different than what was advertised. President of American Freight Steve Belford at Corporate you really need to take in consideration of getting rid of both those guys cause they're making your company here in Moraine look bad, sir.
Austin Location - visited the store twice and both times I was lucky enough to have Jackee assist me. This lady is super knowledgeable and made my experience of the dreaded appliance shopping experience a joy! Will send more folks her way. If it wasn’t for Covid 19 I would have hugged her ! If I could give this company a ZERO I would. Worst customer service ever. The store manager was nice enough but not very helpful until I told him my review would reflect that. He agreed to do a product exchange & I gave him the day I would come. I live an hour away. He said fine only for me to find out that was his day off & no one knew anything about my return. Person holding down the store made it clear that he knew NOTHING about any of the store products. Sales person was at lunch from 3-4 & it wasn’t the warehouse managers responsibility. I asked if they could at least unload the washer & they said they’d speak to someone but never did. Sales lady came back & when I told her what I was looking for she said for me to just look around because she had no idea!!! I mentioned the RR were dirty & she said she had cleaned them that morning. There was fecal material under the lid which had been left up in women’s restroom. Floors definitely hadn’t been mopped in a week! This during Corvid 19😩. I finally found an exchange & she acted like I was a goal inconvenience the whole time. Made excuses while ringing me up. Washer to exchange was still in the truck. No one else was being waited on the entire time I was there. So we waited another 20 minutes & my husband finally went back in and they told him to repark & then they made the exchange. I told the 2 people going in to run as it was the worst experience & customer service ever.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY........Tell everyone you know NOT to purchase from this furniture company. They are HORRIBLE. 1) They delivered outside not into the apartment. 2) They delivered the wrong piece of a sectional, they delivered a couch and not the RIGHT SIDE sectional piece 3) The Store Manager Bill Finn, who runs the South Windsor store was VERY RUDE; Yelling at pointing his finger in the face. Said that he had to come out and inspect the incorrect piece to see if we were telling the truth. 4) He came still yelling he inspected the piece and said that we had the correct piece and then I said what sectional has THREE ARMS! He then looked at the original invoice and said YOU DO HAVE THE WRONG PIECE, never apologize. 5) He said that he don't have the charcoal color that we originally ordered but he can bring a jet black piece on the next day which was Sunday. 6) We ended up cancelling the order; renting a Uhaul truck and brought the furniture back and when we did for some reason that could not credit my credit card for the money they owe me. AMERICAN FREIGHT IS A RIP OFF....I am telling everybody I know not to purchase from them!!! I am contacting the Better Business Bureau on this because this is ridiculous.
Stay away from this place! This store doesn’t even deserve 1 star. We purchased a table, couch and love seat. We got the table home and one chair had two right legs. That was the first issue. We went to set up delivery for the other furniture and even though, they claim to have same day delivery, the soonest it could be delivered was 8 days after the purchase. I guess, that was a blessing. My husband went to sit on store model One more time and it fell apart. With that, we canceled our order to only be told that a refund to our card could take WEEKS. This place is a joke. I’ll be sure to tell everyone that I know, not to waste their time or money
Do not purchase anything from this company! The employees are friendly enough but there is never enough people. We bought furniture in August 2019 and the furniture is junk the recliner basically broke in half the whole one side the arm just fell off. The sofa and love seat appear to be made out of cardboard and cheap materials. Upon delivery they messed up the first set and scratched up my fresh painted walls and wood floors. When I called with my concerns they made me feel like I was an inconvenience. They offered a small discount and it took a few times with the store and finance company to get it done before the SAC time expired. Why do i have to make sure they do their job.
I purchased 1300 dollars worth of furniture. Paid in full. Delivery day they dont have all the pieces to my bedroom set. Delivery was scheduled a month in advance. They can get the other pieces from another store but we have to wait for the trucks to arrive. I agree to have my furniture delivered the next day. I call at 2pm and the truck still has not arrived. I agree to take a refund on the bedroom and have the rest of my furniture delivered. They said they will start loading and it should arrive shortly. At 6pm I call again and am told they went to St. Louis to pick up furniture for othet customers and Im last on the list. At 830pm I get a call delivery truck is broke down then im told they are sending out another truck to get my furniture. At 1015pm my furniture arrives but I still dont have furniture. They dumped a bunch of boxes in my living room and left. I was never tod I had to assembe my own furniture. It says nothing on my sales ticket that I had to assemble my furniture. What terrible customer service. Lies lies and more lies. Stay very far away from this place. I work hard for my money and I expect to be treated with dignity and respect when I spend my money.
My mother bought furniture from this company in March of 2019. The furniture did not arrive until the end of April, and what was delivered was broken or the wrong color. It took another month for the correct furniture to arrive. Not even a year into having this furniture and it's already falling apart!! Not only that but the total was $3,275. My mother has paid over $6,000 and their customer service is trying to tell her that she owes another YEAR ON THIS FURNITURE!!!! ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE!!! Do NOT buy from American Freight Furniture!

Do not shop at sears outlet. I purchased items over a month ago. One item was delivered but the wrong color and still haven't received the new one. The other item I purchased, and they sold it to someone else and they kept my money for 3 weeks. This is THEFT. I am still dealing with them to fix this issue. The store manager and district manager of the Florence KY store were unhelpful and didn't seem to care. Do not waste your time. I'm in over a month with no results, other than countless emails and a headache. Update 5/15/20 Still dealing with this. I have been speaking with the district Manager Anthony Harris and he refuses to give me his bosses name and email. I would like to be contacted soon with this information.

I have had my furniture for 2 years in March. When I started noticing my cushions breaking down and called, I was told it was beyond the warranty!! 6 months and that is it?? I never thought I would have to have the extended warranty after just 6 months!! Now, the wood part is breaking in the arms and back...cushions wore down...and $2000 down the drain. For $2000 I could have gone to a more reputable place. Save your money is all I can say!!
I was recently laid off, so I called customer service to get an extension and avoid interest because of Covid-19. Told them I would be able to pay in full by the end of May. No one can help me so i have to pay double. Less than $350 away from paying off my furniture and now i have to pay DOUBLE!!! Knew i should of went somewhere else to get what I wanted.
