Problems with my dashboard experience

Problems with my dashboard experience. This is just one in a long line of problems with Altra and it WILL be the last. People don't like it when you change their dashboard especially when they aren't notified of it. Maybe you can use your Altra Gives Back Day to further fix these problems and quit pissing off your customers. I wish I could give them a lower rating than one star but that doesn't seem possible also.

Kristylne, you rock!!

I wanted to take the time for management to recognize Kristlyne Vasquez for assisting me. I have been in person paying on a truck pymt for 2 years due to avoiding the fee that is charged online. I have asked about this when in the bank on how to avoid the fee I was never provided a clear answer. Kristyne took the time to help me set up my account online registering me and we made the payment. She is awesome and very professional. Thank you so much for working with me and taking time out of your day to step aside and assist me. Please recognize her as she is a valuable asset to your organization. Thanks, Tracy C.

Altra Federal Credit Union great to work with

Altra credit union has been great to work with. I got my first car loan with them over a year ago and just recently got a home equity loan with them. They are great to work with and know how to help make your life easier when it comes to consolidating your debt. Highly recommend them

If I get one more life insurance…

If I get one more life insurance request from Altra I will change banks. I do not go to the insurance agency for banking and the bank should not be selling life insurance. I am receiving one to two per week. STOP.

Website is circa 1997

Website is circa 1997. Very little can be accomplished online. I have auto pay for a loan. The loan is paid off and there is no way to stop the auto pay. Making a payment from an outside account is nearly impossible. You cannot see statements, scheduled payments or any other information.

There is always something going on with…mobile banking

There is always something going on with mobile or website. You can never reach anyone. I tried to deposit my check with mobile banking like i always do on friday (i'm quite certain im not the only one) and your app is not working correctly. But could you offer customer service after hours or weekends? no of course not, dont you thing you charge us enough fees to be able to employee people to answer phone on the weekend. Specially when y'all always have something going on that is an inconvenience to you customer. But then again, you have proven time and time again you dont care about your customer unless they are big money and are making you money. Corporate greed at its finest.

Welcoming Credit Union that made us Happy

Renee was such a joy to work with. She walked us through the process of opening up a new account and applying for credit. She took the time to explain the APR and benefits of the many options the credit union has to offer. We even noticed how they knew customers by name, not like the other banks where your not welcomed.

They have a terrible customer service

They have a terrible customer service. I tried to contact Russell and Carina several times and it was unsuccessful. Russell called one time and left a message. I called him three times and got no returned calls. I've contacted Carina, Loan Officer. She called twice and then she stopped afterward. I am so frustrated. I am not happy at all.

Online banking/login assistance

I have had multiple issues on various occasions, logging in online. Past experiences have been frustrating to try to address the issues via Live Chat. Today was a completely different story! Dova was respectful, patient, kind and knowledge helping to navigate the problem. She even personally called me to assist. Dova also helped answer further questions I had. THANK YOU Dova for making my day!

Glenda Donley - awesome Altra employee!

Glenda Donley was so very helpful. I received a fraud alert on my phone and immediately called Altra. They quickly responded and shut down my account for safety. I can only imagine what would have happened if Altra had not caught it! Glenda checked my accounts and reassured me that all is up and running again. Thank you so much Glenda and also to the Ultra team - YOU ROCK!

Normally I would give you 5 stars but…

Normally I would give you 5 stars but unfortunately I can't anymore. I have been try to get assistance with your mobile app & got told if I didn't know how to minmize my screen so I could get rid of the code that was sent that did not work & she hung up. Now I am stuck over the weekend since you have no support on the weekend to assist in getting into your account so you can send Uncle So i can send some more money to that they are taxing your SS on again which you have already paid tax on so I am just a little bit frustrated.

Fraud - Lack of accountability and assistance

Some impersonated Altra Federal Credit Union, called me from Altra's number, and proceeded to steal money from my account. Drained every cent. Altra was not able to do anything for me. Shouldn't there already be a procedure for cases like this? I'm sure it's happened to Altra members before. I called many different department's and was transferred to many different departments but absolutely no one was able to give me a direct answer or anything that could help me and my situation.

It really bothers me that pay apps are nearly impossible to use with Altra.

It really bothers me that there is a daily limit on transactions using a debit. Also, the fraud department can barely speak English even though it's India's primary language. Yep, they offshore their fraud group. This is scary as a lot of scams come from Indian call centers. Yet they are the ones keeping the fraudsters away? Good luck trying to use a pay app with your account. I can't get a simple Venmo to go thru even after talking to member services and the fraud group multiple times. Their service has a lot to be desired these days. As soon as possible, I'm moving to a different CU after 20+ years as this has gotten out of control. I had to scrap Google Pay as Altra kept flagging the transaction when I tried using it and bounced me back and forth between departments. Now it's the same with trying to use Venmo. Save yourself the headache and hours of wasted time and look for a different CU or bank to manage your funds. You'll be thankful!

Jackie Is THE BEST!

Jackie Is THE BEST!! i was having a rough time this year financially and I was behind on my car loan payments. I was so stressed with all of the things happening in my life i thought my only option was to default on my loan and give up my car! Jackie not only helped me with a plan to keep my car and still make payments but gave me the encouraging words I needed to hear in my darkest hours! She is truly a diamond amongst coals!
