Had a trolley full scanned at ADI Victor Harbor but when it came to pay their eftpos system didn’t work! Had to abandon my trolley load and leave! Half an hour of my life I won’t be getting back!

I bought Aldi honey cashews and found hidden under the honey coating the nuts were full of bugs trapped by the coating or the nuts were blemished with rotten nuts. Perchased Aldi Dairy Fine fruit and nut chocolate it was mouldy. Very disappointing Aldi.
its an awesome store with cheap products that are tasting way better than Coles, Woolworths and drakes etc. the people serving are kind friendly and very understanding! however if you want more people to go there i reckon you should add online orders! if there where online orders we would buy way more than we already do and we are very busy so an online order would be very useful! so i hope to see online ordering soon!
I went to Aldi Banksia Grove, WA and the merchandiser on Saturday was working in the Veg section. He threw the avocados and cucumbers onto the shelve from a distance. The cucumber I bought, I found bruised when I got home. Didn’t look like it when I bought it, so thought it was ok. Absolutely no reason to handle vegetables in such a way. Customers are after quality and when paying any price, I am after quality products. Most likely want the persons merchandising any product to treat it with respect. Thank you. Susanna
product under 3 year warranty, wish to make a claim. documentation says to contact manufacturer, the email address responds in german, the 1800# is voice response in german, then english then they hang up. the aldi website is completly unhelpful with no email or phone contact possible. one could easily gain the impression that they do not stand by product warranties. 21/4/2023 update after a considerable amount of nonsense, was advised by Aldi Sydney to return to a store for a refund. Done, so satified with the outcome, however will certainly not buy anything with a warranty from Aldi again.
arrogant service model operating on insufficient staff to bolster profits it seems. Disrespectful to customers and their own overburdened workers. Where some items are cheaper quality often suffers imo. Moreover, they are are foreign owned and appear not interested or committed to Australia other than extracting profits out of our country.
The quality of free range eggs at Aldi Glen Waverley has been going steadily downhill over the past three months. cartons frequently have smashed eggs. in addition, the last three beaches i purchased had had at least 2-3 rotten eggs in them. This is really disgusting! i may tAke my custom elsewhere.
I don't like your detergent trimat laundry liquid because it gives me rashes and it gives me side effects so I'm staying away from your product. So ALDI come better at this and clearly label your products.
On 3rd Apr 2023, I was asked to show my bag and when I asked why are you doing bag check all of a sudden, the staff in the counter said they do it every time and to all customers and it is mandatory, (I am sure it is not mandatory as I have been visiting this Aldi for more than 2 years and with same bag or even bag bigger than this but never I was asked to open my bag and show. I would have left it if they have said it is random as any other supermarket or shops but they gave an incorrect info for the sake of argument in my opinion) When I said I have been coming to North Strathfield Aldi for more than 2 years now he said no it is a policy across all Aldi stores in Australia and they have to do it. But I was never asked to show my bag before. I spoke to shift/store Manager Sabin and he said the same that it is a policy and he asked some baseless questions like You live in Australia right? Don’t you know about bag check policy. I told him to just talk about North Strathfield Aldi for now and said I have been coming to this store for almost 2 years or more than that and with same backpack for multiple times and I was never asked to show my bag before, he replied saying you said that you are coming to this store frequently but I have never seen you before. I felt this is one of the worst senseless thing a store manager can say. I hope Aldi can introduce a swipe card where I can swipe and swipe off whenever I visit Aldi and I can prove them when asked I have never seen you in this store. But just to prove I have sent my transaction history when I raised a formal incident with Aldi. Both the staff at the counter and the manager Sabin said it is a mandatory process that they need to check everyone and even manager Sabin explained if the bag is bigger than A4 paper size they need to do this check and it is mandatory. But I carried the same bag even bigger bags before and I was never asked to show my bag before. I felt that the store manager and the staff just gave a fake information that it is a mandatory check just for the sake winning the argument. When it was not done before by other staffs, Manager Sabin said then what the other staffs are doing is incorrect. When he doesn’t know what is going on with his own staff, I am not sure how can he ask me if I live in Australia and how come I don’t know about bag check policy. It sounded very silly to me. Again on 5th Apr 2023 I visited Aldi North Strathfield once again with the same bag, but this time I was not asked to show my bag. After billing is done I asked why are you not checking the bag and the staff said that I am a frequent customer and no need to check. I explained that 2 days back their manager said it is mandatory to check every bag that is bigger that A4 sheet size and voluntarily opened my bag and showed it to them. Now, Why Aldi is so confused with their policy. Now am not sure if bag check is mandatory or random? As per Mr. Sabin it is mandatory but I don’t think it is happening as he has mentioned. They can check their CCTV footage if they need to confront my claim. If it is not mandatory on what basis or on what profiling they checked my bag on 3rd Apr 2023? And on what basis the Manager Sabin and staff (Don’t know his name) confirmed me that it is a mandatory check that they are doing it to all customers when it is not true? Overall your staff’s explanation on bag check policy is nor realistic. Better make a policy that is transparent and common for all and educate your staff’s about it. And to add, I have raised my concerns formally with Aldi too, but got an update with apology that they are busy with Easter sales and will come back by next week. So thanks for this awesome customer service. Money will follow if customers are happy- just my opinion. I am no expert. You know business better than me.
today around 6:45 pm i was at aldi store in werribee plaza, melbourne . there was store manager named zahid who had very bad attitude towards my 4 year old.He was manner less and looked like he just woke up or was taking something. if you don't belive please look at the camera in your store( werribee plaza) and also check with another staff who was there. thankyou for making ALDI not safe for kids by hiring these kind of staffs.
Every cashier at Wodonga has an attitude and won't let you leave without hearing their snarky comment while you're literally walking away with your receipt. When are they going to get self serve? I'm sick of the unprofessional rude brats.
Not only their products are cheap, services too, a couple of RudeCunts work there in Aldi, Inglewood, Cnr 10th Ave & Beaufort street in Perth, Western Australia. If you are buying only a couple of items, don't bother as they don't have a fast lane for 12 items or less. Sometimes you will be stuck in between the customers with two trollies loads OfShit and you will have to wait for ages. This is Aldi Australia for you. "You pay peanuts, you will only get monkeys" Cheap Price. Cheap ShittyProducts. Cheap Services. And only CheapCunts work there. Aldi Inglewood, Cnr of 10th Ave & Beaufort Street. Inglewood. Western Australia. ShitPlace.
Should be zero. We wanted to buy a dishwasher we got there just after opening. Only 2 dishwashers available and they were gone. If you are going to advertise something make sure you have stock, so now the good guys have our money. Also I was being served buy a lovely young lady and a manager came over and told her she didn't check someone's bag he had a file and put her name in it. I was embarrassed for her, terrible. Beechboro store
The quick-up portable sprays system is a failure. Leaks everywhere!
Nothing irritates me more than having to pay for a trolley. Didn’t have any loose change and was told I had to pay for a token. Spent $100 at the carindale store, They could have given the token as a gesture of goodwill, but no, I had to pay for it. They should be free when shopping at their store.
I went into Merrylands Aldi on the 19/02/23 and I only needed orange juice because I only had one item the woman asked to check my small handbag I felt angry I always shop at Cole's and Woolworths why would anyone want to get treated like a criminal I will stay with Cole's and Woolworths they have a larger selection of vegan products anyway
This is a copy of an email I sent to Aldi and it was unable to be delivered. I sent it after spending at least 2 hours on Google trying to find a way to contact Aldi directly as I thought it was imperative that they were informed of this message. Date: Wed, 15 Feb 2023 13:10:12 +1100 Subject: Careless/False Advertising Saffron threads or powder is advertised in the online brochure recieved via email today. It is stated 0.5g is $4.99. Just for the information of whoever is inputting data into your catalogue, 0.5g is half of one gram. So how can you show pricing in the same advert for 10g Saffron for $9.98!!! IMPOSSIBLE, there are 20, 0.5grams in 10grams which equates to $99.80 NOT $9.98! So, if Aldi want to sell me 10g saffron for $9.98 please tell me where I can pick up a pallet load and I will be there in a flash!! You guys best change your catalogue before complaints go to Fair Trading when you refuse to sell 10g for $9.98.reg
Customer service in Aldi Casey central Vic is just so disappointing & worst ever. I was just looking for trolly and i didn’t have coin with me.So i asked for a trolly; the lady jsut told me you have to buy token or you can get it from otherwhere. If i havhe to get it from otherwhere then i can go other stores not yours. How she behaved that was not good.I had my toddler with me,It was a bad experienced in Aldi today.Once i asked trolly to Coles as well they gave me in a nice way. Sorry to say that your customer service is so bad.
Aldi you are these days crap .. no phone number .. everything email or forms to fill out, even for you to retrieve one of your trollies .. you are the worst supermarket in Australia for customer service .. do not buy non perishable products as to return or faulty its hell just so you won't do it .. can't even find a product you've had for years and your online stochchecker does not coordinate or understand product names typed in .. you used to be ok a decade ago and I started shopping here in last 3 months but going back to the other 2 supermarkets because in 2023 it feels like I'm in the dark ages .. For one product I need infomation about it has made me extremely angry that you are such a manipulative, money scrounging, customer unfriendly, unhelpful tyrants and I will never spend a cent with you again ... AVOID ALDI AT ALL COSTS.. TOTAL HEADACHE AND STRESS..
Aldi Camberwell Vic has gone downhill remarledly in recent times. This morning at 9.15 am the fruit and vegetable stocks had not been replenished…..I asked a staff member who responded the stock was on a trolley out the back and would be out “in a while”, meanwhile the egg stock also had not been replenished, with just a number of cartons of smashed eggs in dis array in the egg bay, along with a small supply of caged eggs…..no free range eggs at all. By this time, approaching 9.30 am one staff member was evident restocking the dairy section. Obviously there is a staffing issue, or lack of supervision. I used to enjoy Aldi, but not now.
