Steve from the Whitfield Dover area of Affinity Water, was quite amazing. He kept me up to date on a leak I reported outside of the village & called again to report to me when work on the repair was in action. Unusually great service in this day & age & good to know water loss is taken seriously. I would say he is a credit to the company, going the extra mile to find a leak in a very difficult environment & Affinity Waters fast action in itself was faultless.

Freya & Giuseppe were both 10/10!…

Freya & Giuseppe were both extremely helpful in resolving some serious water issues to my home. Personally I have received amazing service from them both, and I am very happy with how I've been treated, and I do feel, well looked after, as a customer of Affinity Water.

Customer service -sad . Is there anyone else allowed to supply water in Barnet area? Doesn't look like it.

Poor response to my query.

Prolonged hold when I called - wait time repeatedly stated as over half an hour. No call-back option, which most call centres now offer. Gave up and went online. First available appointment for a visit apparently December. This is very poor service and if your company was not a monopoly you would not be able to retain customers with this level of service. I got your reply - you say you would like more detail. I would like a meter fitted in a reasonable time - having had a first visit in March, and now having to wait till December for a follow-up is not reasonable or acceptable.

Affinity water June 2025

What a bunch of clowns, we lost our supply and called the emergency number for which there was no pick up. How bad is that. They picked up the next day but could not confirm that we were affected because the supply had been restored to the local area. This was investigated and we were affected after they had tried to say the issue was on our property. The only plus point for affinity water was the person who handled our call she did keep updating us but that’s subjective to her nothing to do with this clown organisation. I reckon they should be nationalised. ####response to Tamara at affinity water# Why do you need details you have the date and there was only one major outage I was informed. Again clowns nationalise this idiot company. ##################################

Abysmal service

Abysmal service. Late payment logged with credit agencies despite payment being sent within the time period. The implication of this being that they shared data in a manner not in line with their privacy notice and credit agencies data sharing information notice. Extremely poor.

I set up a standing order back in April…

I set up a standing order back in April for 10 months, 3 payments have been taken. I have received numerous text and letters saying my account is overdue. I am the bill payer my e-mail details and mobile number are on the account, but I have been informed that because my husband's name is listed and not us both, the customer service staff will not consult with me even though we have been married for 40 years and have a joint account which this payment is taken from. The texts I am receiving have no reply service and do not explain why payment is being chased. I have always paid my bills on time, I used to pay annually, but now I'm semi-retired I have had to make adjustments to monthly payments. Very disappointing service.

Why three stars, partly due to the fact that recent news has highlighted the exorbitant amount the CEOs of whatever water company are being paid in β€˜bonuses’ Bonuses for what polluting our precious water supply, this is unconscionable.

Roadworks took forever as usual to be…

Roadworks took forever as usual to be completed. Major road out of our home to get anywhere closed for a week causing massive traffic issues. Said it would be reopened on Saturday morning originally but still not open. A joke. This road is always closed or having work done on it. They should be working night and day to get it back open sooner. Terrible. And no concern about the impact it has on us.
