I set up a standing order back in April…
I set up a standing order back in April for 10 months, 3 payments have been taken. I have received numerous text and letters saying my account is overdue. I am the bill payer my e-mail details and mobile number are on the account, but I have been informed that because my husband's name is listed and not us both, the customer service staff will not consult with me even though we have been married for 40 years and have a joint account which this payment is taken from. The texts I am receiving have no reply service and do not explain why payment is being chased. I have always paid my bills on time, I used to pay annually, but now I'm semi-retired I have had to make adjustments to monthly payments. Very disappointing service.
