Steve from the Whitfield Dover area of Affinity Water, was quite amazing. He kept me up to date on a leak I reported outside of the village & called again to report to me when work on the repair was in action. Unusually great service in this day & age & good to know water loss is taken seriously. I would say he is a credit to the company, going the extra mile to find a leak in a very difficult environment & Affinity Waters fast action in itself was faultless.

Freya & Giuseppe were both 10/10!…

Freya & Giuseppe were both extremely helpful in resolving some serious water issues to my home. Personally I have received amazing service from them both, and I am very happy with how I've been treated, and I do feel, well looked after, as a customer of Affinity Water.

Customer service -sad . Is there anyone else allowed to supply water in Barnet area? Doesn't look like it.

Poor response to my query.

Prolonged hold when I called - wait time repeatedly stated as over half an hour. No call-back option, which most call centres now offer. Gave up and went online. First available appointment for a visit apparently December. This is very poor service and if your company was not a monopoly you would not be able to retain customers with this level of service. I got your reply - you say you would like more detail. I would like a meter fitted in a reasonable time - having had a first visit in March, and now having to wait till December for a follow-up is not reasonable or acceptable.

Disgusting company!

I have posted my negative review of Affinity Water unethical practices and harassment. Affinity Water asked for my details so they can "look into it", I provided them with my details, and guess what?! They still keep harassing me over the phone!!! Every day! Disgusting company!

Here's our story with Affinity Water

Here's our story with Affinity Water. We moved in to a semi detached house and decided to have a water meter instead of rates (all fine). 4 years on we had some work done to the house and needed the water turned off, quickly realised that this turned the water off next door. When we questioned them they said it's a joint supply - but I had been paying both houses water bill's for 4yrs. We agreed a settlement and they informed us 2 meters have now been installed, so no repeat. Move to last year, again had some work done and same thing happened. They hadn't installed 2 meters (just lied to us) and again charging for both houses over the last 2-3 years. I contacted them expecting the same outcome as before but this time they said I owe them money. The argument was that I had to pay something. Ok, but they put me on a rate charge and turned out to be more expensive? We started to argue our case but during this time we had some terrible news and needed some time to get everything together at home and look into this further. Instead they sent me a bill and a promise of Β£50 off a future bill. Our water pressure is almost non-existent if next door are using theirs or if you have a shower, wash your hands or flush. This still hasn't been resolved, we are on rates and they recommend we pay for a new water line installed (well over 5k) but the water line runs to us first?. The whole process and the way it's been dealt with is incredibly poor. Just wish water companies had business competition as you would just move but just to be stuck with an inconsiderate, lying, (can argue thieving) shambles of a company. Would say avoid but you probably don't have a choice.

Was this a scam?

I was phoned up today from someone claiming to be from affinity water about my overdue bill. She wanted me to pay over the phone and give my credit card details and told me if I didn't pay within the next 48 hours I would be incurring a fine. Is this a normal practice or was it a scam? By the way, I didn't pay over the phone.

I requested a recording of a call I made asking if anything I was doing payment wise would affect my credit rating- they have sent me the call recording but have actually cut parts of it- you can clearly hear in the recording where it has been cut- what sort of a company is this? I will be taking this to the highest power possible as this company now manipulate my personal data. Plesse if anyone reads this and is in the same boat please contact me on clairekent280783@gmailcom so we can work on this together- we can’t let them get away with it- ruining people credit scores for fun! Affinity don’t even bother commenting and asking for further details as no one ever calls back anyway so waste of time

FALSE REPRESENTION

As others have said, i am repaying my debt every month at an agreed amount, However, they have marked my credit file with 5 months missed payments. Apparently, they will do this until the entire debt is paid, damaging my credit file, which limits my financial flexibility, so that the consolidation i was trying to arrange to pay this off with, is now no longer an option. I agree you should show how much debt/credit is being used, but saying i have missed payments is untrue and misleading and frankly FALSE REPRESENTATION.

Affinity water have taken peoples names…

Affinity water have taken peoples names and addresses and use them to create water accounts without consent from them The house holder must register with a water company themselves When you ring customer service up all you get from them is total rudeness total Disrespect from them All I say to you is they are the Only water company in the area. They said you use our water That makes you our customer When you asked them to do something for you or you get from the Customer service agents is them asking you for information the things Which is not relevant to what you are asking them to do This company has made a lot of people very ill and also caused a lot of friction for people
