Here's our story with Affinity Water

Here's our story with Affinity Water. We moved in to a semi detached house and decided to have a water meter instead of rates (all fine). 4 years on we had some work done to the house and needed the water turned off, quickly realised that this turned the water off next door. When we questioned them they said it's a joint supply - but I had been paying both houses water bill's for 4yrs. We agreed a settlement and they informed us 2 meters have now been installed, so no repeat. Move to last year, again had some work done and same thing happened. They hadn't installed 2 meters (just lied to us) and again charging for both houses over the last 2-3 years. I contacted them expecting the same outcome as before but this time they said I owe them money. The argument was that I had to pay something. Ok, but they put me on a rate charge and turned out to be more expensive? We started to argue our case but during this time we had some terrible news and needed some time to get everything together at home and look into this further. Instead they sent me a bill and a promise of £50 off a future bill. Our water pressure is almost non-existent if next door are using theirs or if you have a shower, wash your hands or flush. This still hasn't been resolved, we are on rates and they recommend we pay for a new water line installed (well over 5k) but the water line runs to us first?. The whole process and the way it's been dealt with is incredibly poor. Just wish water companies had business competition as you would just move but just to be stuck with an inconsiderate, lying, (can argue thieving) shambles of a company. Would say avoid but you probably don't have a choice.
