Review summary
Actiph Water receives consistently positive reviews. Customers particularly appreciate service and quality, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
Great taste, clean, fresh, very smooth, evaporates off my tongue. Having experienced drinking 12 glass bottles I was surprised how easily I drank them, within just a few days, usually I struggle to drink this much water.
I'm currently waiting for my next delivery to arrive! 12 bottles every 2 weeks!....Since I ran out I've noticed my energy levels drop this week! So I'll be really interested to see if they pick up again when I'm back on it!...Hopefully my deliveries will be consistent
I'd also be interested to know who owns Shropshire Water and the surrounding local land. It's for this reason I avoid Buxton water!
Tastes fine but after drinking one can a day for about a week, which didn’t do anything for reflux in a short space of time, but did do something for my bowels! If you are sensitive to added minerals then this isn’t for you. Magnesium can make do this to me but thought was low enough in the water not to effect me, but it has. I will still drink just maybe one or two cans a week but won’t be buying again when I finish my current stock.
Water tastes fine - am part way through 48 bottles - very drinkable and tentatively helping my acid reflux. Is it better than an antacid tablet? Jury’s out. Sports passes are rubbish though mainly taster sessions that you’d typically get for free anyway and very limited options - but you only find this out after you’ve made the purchase, of course.
I ordered this as their Instagram advert quotes "no heartburn, no reflux"
So I've been drinking this constantly ordering a box of 24. And have experienced no improvement at all of my acid reflux sadly.
Taste is fine so I've been able to get through it but I've just paid £20 for water that tastes as good as my tap (which is filtered) and no other benefits. So I feel a bit stupid falling for the social media marketing.
I was supposed to have my purchase delivered on Tuesday and I still haven’t received my water from Yodel. Now I can’t even track it anymore because it doesn’t find my order in Yodel’s tracker anymore. I’m feeling robed.
A stark contrast to the first time I ordered when I didn't receive the package for 3 months and had no estimation for when it should've arrived, delivery time is often within 2-3 business days as they estimate, and the quality of the water is absolutely phenomenal as always.
As an added bonus, the last time I posted a review I mentioned that there was no estimation for when it should've arrived. Shortly after that, when I received a replacement package (and a refund to boot!) I checked their website and now there was a delivery time attached to the checkout.
5 stars all around. It seemed like a company that didn't really give a hoot at first, but I've been firmly corrected on that stance by their actions alone.
Because People Want Water Actiph make Minus Effort
I have updated the rating in view of my overall experience and the gracious response from Actiph water showing my feedback had been received and understood.
The neighbour had my water, which Actiph water had refunded over the kerfuffle. The address on the website was incorrect, which meant Yodel and Startup were correct. An address drop down for my postcode would prevent this as the address sent to didn't exist, therefore must have been a typo writing numbers in. More familiar with website, I may resubscribe when website updated.
Here is my original review, which Actiph respond to:
I had to cancel as Actiph didn't spend a second on their communications. I signed up for a monthly subscription for water. The confirmation said "next delivery 26 November" and there was no mention of first delivery. I emailed and got an unhelpful reply, which didn't answer my question, asked me 2 irrelevant ones and said it was printed in their policy that first delivery was 2-3 days.
Now i am 5 days past and seemingly nothing to tell me what or when I will get a delivery. Emails drag out time consumingly and distractingly over days. Their responders are unable to understand a simple question "when is my delivery due to reach me?"
It is not possible to have a quick 2 way conversation to know what is happening.
I received an email vaguely saying I had subscribed and provided links to manage my account. Their login could not be worse and more inaccessible. It flicks to a tiny form asking for email and then password with "forgot password" cramped into a tiny box.
It took 3 goes to stop it asking me to reset password as there wasn't space to put it in. Even though I had been emailed, it claimed not to recognise my email. The process appeared to face this problem more than a simple, quick clean login. So, forgot password > don't recognise email > trouble accessing subscription > email login link > in. Could not be more inconsiderate of my time.
3rd email repeats unhelpful dismissive lack of information - why bother? - just stressful and demeaning. I suggested the first thing a customer or subscriber wants to know is "when is my order arriving" NOT tucked in small print.
Once in my account, there are no navigation signposts. I prod around and find a way to unsubscribe. I am not giving my money to any company who cannot be bothered to communicate and are not interested in their customers. Stolen time, stress and for nothing.
The other expectation to manage after a purchase is how will be notified. I got a fishy text from "STARTUP" giving a Yodel tracking number. More waste of my time and stress.
So: I get a text saying an item will be delivered by yodel. I don't touch unidentified links in texts. Then I get another saying the item has been delivered. Not to my flat.
I call Yodel, they ask for admin I don't have as I want to ask a quick question. Nope, goodbye and it hangs up. I try again and enter number. Informed my item is delivered. No way of speaking to anyone.
This could be my first delivery. Minus communication of any sort or consideration. Words are free to use and any company in operation must ask what customers need to know. They have such an awful process and are a brick wall, which is why they can't be spoken to on the phone. Always a bad sign to me.
Nice tasting water and seems to work a treat for my reflux. I do have 1 grip the bottles I buy are those 600 ml sports cap bottles. The cap stay stuck via a piece of plastic to the bottle. Rather annoying if you take top off to drink.
